  ARC - where to start?

  i'm hoping for help in finding a starting point, somewhere to direct my husband.

  i brought up a little bit about the arc spoken of so widely here on the forum.

  i just gave him a bit of a hint a few days ago, and he wanted to hear nothing of it - the old you can't believe everything you read.

  Just a side point - JW are not the only organisation being investigated. Other churches are being investigated, too. One of them is the Catholic church. So if a JW accepts the investigation into the Catholic church as being true, then they would have to consider the investigation of the JW organisation in the same light. The same legal team is responsible for investigating all churches.

  I say this because your husband might raise the objection that the JW are being singled out. That is not the case.

  I was criticised for watching the Dateline program about WT child abuse and the two witness rule. I was told that this was "apostate lies." Years later, Geoffrey Jackson tells the ARC the same thing about the two witness rule. Yet he is supposed to be a member of the GB.

  with all of the bat-shit crazy propaganda of late, i'm considering talking to my wife about the cult.

  we have had zero religious discussions for two years.

  the last discussion ended with ,"you have no beliefs, no personal beliefs, because you change your "beliefs" when the wtbts writes an article.

  i don't really engage in doctrinal discussions about jw's anymore.

  they seem to say some pretty crazy stuff.

  but i have read some threads discussing doctrinal changes and how watchtower is really out of ideas and money at the same time.

  This sounds almost like the GB is going to make a call out to all Borg worshippers to hand over their assets to the Borg, selling property, cars, life insurance, etc

  Don't agree with the name calling and criticism levelled at Christian and Katja.

  If I need a dose of judgmentalism or pettiness, I can get that at the hall.

  I like watching their videos and hope that they continue to make more. It's more interesting listening to them rather then having to listen to a GB member drone on.

  My cat died suddenly!

  i did not realize that they were symptoms that something was wrong with my cat -but i did notice that my cat was breathing a little differently for a period of about a few days.

  i also noticed prior and after to that, that on occasion, my cat would cry at the litter box, but that was a very seldom event.. anyway, about a week ago i noticed the symptom that my very loved cat was breathing heavy.

  so i called a taxi and i was going to rush him to emergency room for cats.

  At the end of the public hearings (for the WT) during the ARC, Justice Peter McClellan said that the WT had two and a half years to amend its policy on child sexual abuse.

  By the end of two and a half years, its policies must meet best practice standards.

  Jehovah's Witnesses were banned in Australia in the 1940's. What prevents the Australian Government from doing that again?

  I'm sure that the ARC will bring about justice too.

  this video will be played at one of the clam meetings in march 2016.. the content is kind of old news because it is a recut version of a previous video produced for the elder's school.

  however, it's still significant because it shows that the organization still has dissenting brothers in positions of leadership.. my thanks to the leaker.
