is it your understanding that any person dead before Jesus' death does not fit into either class, therefore never recieves salvation?

if this is the case, (i apologize if you have to correct me again) then that is not what i've learned.

in fact, the idea of conversing with Moses or Job or David in paradiese is one that is promoted often in the Watchtower pages. Jesus' ransom sacrifice was for all people. It was part of the 'coming of full circle' so to speak, that Genesis 3:16,17 states.

All of these aforementioned men knew of the 'seed', the fact that the apostle Paul, a christian, speaks 'volumes' of them in Hebrews chapter 11 emphazises their salvation.

The US and British government is replete with 'open' members of masonry. Their goals, short and long term don't involve 'taking over' the UN, but rather influencing it. In many ways, depending on how you view both of these organizations, they can exist as one united entity as well as separate but complementing entities.

why do you ask if i'm of the watchtower.org?

it is a statement you hear a lot because it is true. NO OTHER organization even begins to serve Jehovah in the manner that the Bible stipulates. I would like to learn of an alternate one, sincerely. Researching such an alternative would be very enlightening indeed.

i don't quite catch how i went off the subject. By the way, our preaching work (door to door (as Jesus stipulated) and in many other various forms is also unmatched by any other 'christian' organization. i know several amish as well, none of them 'witness' to others. i will take some time to read this information as you've requested.

The evidence in pro of 1914 requires not only biblical proof, (which there is) but also faith, which not everyone has.

It sounds to me that you will be referring to certain understandings that have been revised since?

Jesus' apostles on many ocassions seemed downright boneheaded when failing to understand certain teachings or certain words spoken by Jesus. This did not undercut their value and how indispensable they were or became to him.

The big picture was never lost to them, just as it does not become lost to us now.

you are referring to the issue of deception perhaps? again, just because we do not see the fullfillment of a prophecy in our lifetime does not mean we've been decieved.

my closest friends are all on the same page. and they are all witnesses. This is because it reflects scripture rather than oppose it or discredit it.

Your thought made me understand something for the first time.

It seems that where there is an 'issue' or idea being examined, it should always align itself with the Bible. Some issues are made up however of a 'fact', and an 'interpretation'.

I can see where an interpretation that someone might have brought up did not align with the Bible, in which case (and i agree with this 100%) such interpretation should be discarded.

But as you can see seeker 4, I'm saying the same thing the Bible states, i'm not opposing it nor am i discreting it. If i was, then some of my fellow brothers whom i've chosen to discuss this with, would think i'm losing my mind, and rightfully so.

i've personally NEVER read in a Watchtower or Awake or any othe book that one should quit their job NOW. Or that going to college will result in being thrown ou, etc. I've personally never done either, because i've never understood any article in such a way.

The principle has always been to be balanced and cautious when it came to those two issues.

As far as the proof of why now is different, i was VERY brief with some points in my original first post. If you are inclined to research it yourself, you will see that there is a very particular flow of events occurring right now in regards to the Beast acquiring authority (thru other nations), authority that the Bible states it will use to turn against religion.
