  Typical of this leadership.

  What a bunch.

  Besides the abuse scandal issue, you can also put them in with Churches back wars angle too. Why? Well these idiots partnered with the UN from 1992 to 2001 and in doing so voluntarily agreed to the principles of the UN Charter. And what is in the little old UN Charter you ask? Why there is this niffty Chapter 7 that allows countrys to go to war (eg. Korean Conflict and the Iraq Wars just to name a few).

  No, he did not! He did what a group of leaders told him to do. The judge clearly did not consult past decisions, there is a precedent in this case. The watchtower is using false information, strong arm tactics, and exaggerating the danger to keep the faithful from using blood; and seeking proper treatment. If the watchtower would of changed policy that day the child would of taken the blood. This is not about freedom of belief, but the right of religion to misinform it's lay into making bad decisions.

  You are absolutley correct. The kid cannot make an informed choice as recognized in the Bethany Hughes case. Kerry's article really helps one understand all of this.

  my wife (active witness) and i (inactive, haven't attended in over a year) just got memberships to the ymca today.

  it's the only fitness place in town with a swimming pool.

  I guess the Judge did not read up on the B.A.H. case in Alberta where the Judge found convincing evidence that Bethany Huuhges, the 16 year old child could not make an informed decision due to the WTS tactics of shunning and manipulation.

  the lawsuit has been given the green light and is basically has remained intact almost exactly the way it started.
