One that just uses me for sex!
Then leaves!
i ve just read the blog asking what sort of man a woman wants!
i am fed up in this world that men don't stand up and start letting the sisters in the world know what we really need.
lets take the game to them!!.
One that just uses me for sex!
Then leaves!
the local area is attempting to build a new kingdom hall.
the county says they do not want is done as a quick build.
they sited that too many of these quick builds have resulted with mold problems.
I had a postion of responsibility on the RBC (not to up though), on some of the KH's megafloweris referring to. I would constantly take issue with the wall coverings going up over wet joint compound. Where did these people actually think the moisture would go. All due to some. All for some arbitrary deadline.
Back in the 80's the whole quick build concept was pretty much just a marketing tool. Now, so many non-profit groups do this it goeas unboticed. Kudos to the county for being responsible.
Just a thought, if Jehovah was really directing their efforts, as they claim, couldn't he direct the projects so this mold remediation wsn't needed?
do jws women use birth control?.
i always wanted to know what their views were on birth control.
ciao,.
However, if a brother gets a vasectomy and someone is stumbled he may lose the ability to "serve" in the congregation.
It supposedly shows a lack of respect for the reproductive organs.....(but a condom is ok? yup)
Never could figure that one out. Also never heard of anyone getting in trouble for it.
They always use the excuse " It was for a medical reason"
No s**t... my kids are driving my crazy too!
it's been less than a year but i think i am nearly there.. i can read through a mag or sit through a meeting and instantly see through the bs.. i can watch the news without thinking is this a part of the composite sign.. i see people for what they are without trying to pigoen hole them.. i'm not worried what the elders think.. however,.
i still show too much interest if i see something about a jw in the media.. i notice kingdom hall if driving through a new place.. i still want to stop and say hello if i see a group of witnesses on the street.. how do you guys and gals measure the progress of your exit from the cult?.
.
Simple test....
Skip the Memorial. Feel Guilty?
Yes. Not broken free.
No. You are free!
just this week after being separated a little over two months....and funny cause i just got a pm from a newbie about what it is like to leave all...including your wife or husband....anyway, i spent the day with my wife and we talked about it...it is so sad....even though we are very different in natures...i again concluded there is enough in common to be happy and grow old and avoid the very high costs to both of a divorce....except we just cant figure out how to have totally separate friends and social lives....that is kinda big and may still be the deal breaker....soooooo frustrating and infuriating..........oompa.
here was my reply to the newbie pm:.
leaving was terribly hard as my wife is a wonderful and attractive person...my 22 year old son is also a good dub...and my parents are not real old yet and he is a hardcore elder.
Oompa,
I told my wife, five years ago I no longered believed in the JW religion. Last year I quit everything cold turkey. I also am araging apostate in my home. I moved out last spring. She wanted me back no matter my belief. I loved her. Was still attracted to her. It was far less expensive to stay. So I moved back in with her (oh yeah and got her pregnant, but thats a whole differnt story). It was the right decision for me. She has accepted me not being a JW. I simply go to NFL or MLB games on Sundays. I get a free night during the week in which I can go do whatever I like.
My point is...If you think it will work for you, don't be afraid to try. You can bail later but she cannot remarry you after your divorce. (stupid man-made rules)
this is a direct continuation od part iv.................................... you can imagine the reaction of the people who saw me storm out of the hall but what happened in the elders meeting after i left was even funnier.
mike told me that there was stunned silence for about a minute.
slimeball said well take that as his stepping down!.
Cantleave,
Many are in the same boat as you. I am 38, born in, and out 1 year.I feel very similar That's the great thing anout this forum. Sometimes the things we go through truly suck. But once we have time to reflect, it can really help a person grow. When the growth comes in the ability to break free from the bonds created by this religion, the end result is rewarding but the scaring never goes away.
All the best (or Good Luck) moving forward.

I learned from a very young age that this is a "good old boys club". It had nothing to do with holy spirit. (How did I get appointed while turning in bogus f.s. reports).
Guess you weren't one of them cantleave.
FYI-I really enjoyed your series of posts. You do come across a little bitter though, But it's okay to be. You probably feel you wasted a good part of your life slaving for a false cause.
"Nevertheless, there are differing needs for attention in a relationship. If "Ugonna" is unhappy with a once-every-two-weeks telephone call, he should move on."
Once every two weeks does not constitute a "girlfriend". Granted if it's a "booty call" every two weeks......Call it whatever she wants......

i was wrong when i was so sure i was right before.
.
i feel a responsibility but i am confused.. also, any ideas for preparing vulnerable family members prior to pulling the rug out from under them?.
Be careful.
You may try to pull the rug out....
and only end up hurting your back.
