I'm in the same boat.
Moved to a new hall a four years ago. Have had over half the hall over for meals.
Been invited to just 2 families homes.
Just like Robert7- This makes my fade very easy.

Did you ever really have true blue friends being a Witness?
by Cheetos inlooking back i don't think i really ever had any good friends being witness, cause if i would have some out of all those people and so called friends i thought i had, you would think one of them would have looked me up over the years.
what a farce.

When I was active, Most of my childhood friends were overwhelmed with jealousy at my career success.
Now I would say the only ones who still consider me friends will ignore me once they find out my stance. -

750 billion bailout plan
by loosie inok i am not a major in economics but i have a better idea than bailing out the major companies who lay off workers anyway.
i don't see how that is goign to help the economy.. there are 301,139,947 people in the us according to the gov library.
if you divide 750 billion by the population of the us you get 2.49 million dollars.

There was a similar e-mail being sent around 2 months ago where the math was wrong.
The real # would be not much more than we got from Bush last year and that did nothing. -

I mean that it is all paper.
The people getting it don't see more than a ledger sheet.
If the ledger sheet goes negative it feels far different than you or I losing everything we have.
The people receiving this money also have very little personal responsibility for it.
As evidenced by the Auto industry, they only decided to sell their plans after congress gave them grief about it.
There was no sense of financial responsibility prior to them being shamed.
You or I would have made changes in our lifestyle long ago because our money is real. -

The Bailout is not real money.
What scares me is Fifty years from now (If Armageddon is not here, Snicker, snicker) This bailout program will be looked at as a complete disaster that hurt our economy long term.
This is because rather than letting the economy correct itself,as it has so many times before, the Government is artificially manipulating it.
Artificial economics got us in this mess and artificial economics will keep us in it longer.
I hope I am wrong but am confident I am not. -

Cigars N Scotch or Bourbon?
by feelinsketchy inhi all, it's been a long, long time since i have posted.
maybe its because i stopped giving a crap about this religion.
at the same time, i meditate on how 5 generations of my family have suffered believing the lies perpetrated by it.

I came home from golfing a couple weeks ago.
Smoked 3 Cohibas ( Cuban, not Dominican) and drank a bottle (with 4 guys) of Glenlivet (I know, a little too commercial but who cares)
My wife was pissed
Because she didn't like the smell- And because technically i'm still in the org.
A great way to spend an afternoon!
