  i was looking over the watchtower site on facebook this evening, and was just mesmerized by many of the posts.this stuff can't be real (can it)?

  For how long can they massage the figures ?

  so looking at the worldwide report , the baptisms are down , many countries are 0 growth ,publishers, hours , and studies up because of changes in reporting methods .

  but just how long can the propping up of numbers happen for , before the real downward slide starts ?

  a year or two tops , which will be real close to 2014 .

  A dont believe the numbers are "fudged".

  I believe they are manipulated by changing the requirements. Also, the non-english speaking congregations are growing

  When the numbers actually do go down, this will be embraced. The GB is waiting for this with a plan. They will claim the congregation is being cleansed in preparation of Armagedon. The will encourage people to do more, working the members into an excited frenzy. An attitude of us versus them will be adopted. And many of those "fringe" JW's will be out.

  Don't forget..This is a cult and this is how cults work.

  this was presented for discussion.. .

  a co in our area (rochester) said that there would be no one being.

  At least 50 of my "Friends" on Facebook are active JW's. No Elders or MS's, But a bunch of their wives and kids. It is amazing how many ex-JW's celebrate B-days and holidays openly, and active JW's are still "friends" with them. Nevermind them being friends with some quiet apostates.

  I have yet to see any of my "friends" delete their accounts. Although I am sure it is coming.

  It seems likea bigger problem than the GB even realizes.

  WTS was the first on the scene after the Haiti earthquake

  hey!.

  the following story is apparently circulating in several south-american bethel-branches: after the earthquake in haiti, the wts was the first provide help in the form of 18 doctors who was transported in by air.

  this clearly show how well the organization work bla bla bla.. im curious if anyone else here has heard this story, or have information about how effective the wts helping work really was..

  Worst Witness Wedding Experience?

  we went to oz for a wedding of a brother and sister from the sydney bethel.

  it was the most bizzare wedding of all time, the cake was a multi coloured telitubby creation and the veggie food option was baby octopus and squid, the alcohol was free flowing and all bethelites in attendance took full advantage.

  we were sat listening to the speaches and it was getting rowdier and rowdier and some of the language was rather unscriptual to say the least, as it was mixed jw and non jw we were surprised to find that all of this noise came from the bethelites.

  Superbowl Party and the Generation

  i am going to a superbowl party with four generations of my family in attendance.. the oldest member (my grandmother) was not yet alive in 1914. the youngest is a week old.. i am so temted to make a big deal of how ridiculous the wbts is when it claim that my grandmothers mother, who nobody there has ever met, is of the same generation as the newborn.

  if they have not read the april wt they would all argue against this and i would be accused of indulging in too much alcohol.. if they know this came from the gb, they would 100% agree and argue the merit of this.. this situation is so accurate i am sure many of you can imagine sitting in the room listening to the two scenarios.. seriously, how can so many people be blinded by this cult?.

  I would venture to guess less than 5% of them have read this magazine yet. When they do or when this article is studied, so few of them will even pick up the change. The last change went unnoticed by most.

  The ones that figure it out will be greatful. Just the last change, a few (like myself) will have had enough and leave.

  And the cult continues......

  me, i'm from hayes cong london and golden ash northants... spent time in others too but mostly those... oh, also a short spat in kempston cong bedford... all in england... :).
