  Jesus is Not Michael

  you all know that i argued this the other way and could not get good answers to daniel chapter 12. but if you see michael as performing a function much like john the baptist did and how the jews believed that elijah must come first then michael's function of standing in advance of the return of our lord for a short time prior to the resurrection of the dead makes perfect sense.

  and it also gives a slightly different meaning to the words: " and what shall be the sign of thy coming, (events that take place after the standing up of michael) and of the end of the world?

  " (christs return or presence.

  i believe - michael is a strong angel and the cherub in charge of watching over israel -not the only-beggotten son of god.

  we may not agree with ct russells doctrine but we have to admit his influence on bible study groups and jws 100 years later is remarkable and unequaled.i think your story is pathetic and morbid-showing a great deal of resentment and hatred.i hope your last few breaths on this earth are not like your fantasy of mr.russells death.

  I Went Back To the Kingdom Hall

  last year i went back to the hall while even though i was disfellowsipped 9 years ago and never intend to get reinstated.

  i went back to talk to all my friends and relatives and blantantly ignore the disfellowshipping policy.

  i chose to go to my jw parents hall where they are in "good standing" and regularly attend meetings as they ingnore their son.

  Growing Old in this System of Things

  the other day, i had to make a stop at a personal care home to do something work-related.

  i think we all have to relize we are all going to get old and DIE.i was drawn to jws with the hope of never getting old or dying.we need to enjoy our life as a christian and be of use to others.faithful christians were promised life in heaven with christ.our generation is not special.there will be no rapture or divine restoration of the earth in our lifetime just like there wasnt in russells or rutherfords day..

  Congregation Bible Study Book

  not sure if this question was addressed yet, but does anyone know what the next book is that will be studied at the congregation bible study?.

  i'm pretty sure we're close to the end of keep yourselves in god's love, or maybe it's finished already, so if anyone knows what the new study aid will be please let me know.. .

  i knew a ms 10 years ago who was deleted because he wouldnt kick out his dfd son.also an elder built a seperat e entrance to his home to accomadate his dfd son who agreed to go through the reinstatement process.what a strange religion!

  i have seen this more and more the longer i've been out of the witnesses ( over 6 years ) .

  one of the main objectives of the wt society was to make us have a fear of leaving the witnesses and doubt ourselves so much due to being told we were imperfect and sinful.

  so then that produced guilt.
