  what was the worst advice given to you while you were a JW ?

  mine's was, if your job interfere with the meetings you have to decide who you will choose,.

  serving jehovah or serving man, if anyone knew my needs it most definitely was jehovah.

  and he knew i needed my job to eat.

  i was a jw from 1990-2006 and never came across any material on what married couples could not engage in.the quote was from a 1977 wt.

  this is an assertion leveled at me recently.

  the speaker has the advantage over me in that i was born and bred in the borg and have only recently jumped ship.. what, can i ask would your responce be to this?.

  is there any jehovah's witness who can answer these questions about 1914?.

  can you demonstrate, using the holy scriptures, that the messianic kingdom was established in 1914, that jesus got the full legal right to become king that year, and that jesus returned invisibly in 1914, and that the "last days" began that year?.

  1:) no encyclopedia, no history book, and no archaeology book that i have ever seen have ever said that nebuchadnezzar destroyed jerusalem and the temple in the year 607 bce.

  based on their new defintion of a "generation" from the 4/15/2010 wt, that is:.

  understand jesus words about this generation?.

  he evidently meant that the lives of the anointed.

  i revived it as i was looking for it to show to someone else.. it seems they wish they could legally kill people's own family members.

  since they cannot, they encourage believing mates to prostitute themselves with the unbeliever- trade sex (marital due) for financial support.. here's the older wt article that reveals "their" attitude toward unbelieving or df'ed family members:.

  dr. margaret barkers new book, the great angel: a study of israels second god, argues conclusively that yahweh, the god of israel, was not the father of jesus, but jesus christ himself.

  furthermore, the belief that jehovah was gods (elyons) first son a tradition that went far back into israelite history.

  it not only was known to the ancient prophets, but to the early christians and even the gnostics.
