even though they have discarded most of russells doctrine-you are right they are a futurist religion that has grown into a huge monster.i have been gone 4 years and have noticed that the publishers are charging money for the mags again denoting financial woes.

by Terry inthe doctrines of jehovah's witnesses are not original.. if they are not original and originating from their "faithful and discreet slave" class of anointed "prophets"--then they must be 2nd hand from other sources.. this would at once disprove the proprietary claims of special relationship with god as his mouthpiece.where did their ideas, doctrines, chronologies and reasonings find their source?
was it the "anointed" slave or was it from earlier failed speculators who had polished a messege that got people worked up into a fervor?.
for the answer to this we must revisit the time of the watchtower society's founder, c.t.

Do "Thousands of JWs die each year" because they refuse blood? I say YES!

by JosephMalik inyou all know that i argued this the other way and could not get good answers to daniel chapter 12. but if you see michael as performing a function much like john the baptist did and how the jews believed that elijah must come first then michael's function of standing in advance of the return of our lord for a short time prior to the resurrection of the dead makes perfect sense.
and it also gives a slightly different meaning to the words: " and what shall be the sign of thy coming, (events that take place after the standing up of michael) and of the end of the world?

we may not agree with ct russells doctrine but we have to admit his influence on bible study groups and jws 100 years later is remarkable and unequaled.i think your story is pathetic and morbid-showing a great deal of resentment and hatred.i hope your last few breaths on this earth are not like your fantasy of mr.russells death.
