  This is my plan also. I did not sign up for a party when I registered to vote so it's time I updated my status so I can vote in the primaries.

  one of my boyfriend's best friend died over the weekend.

  it was really sad.

  he was 36, never married, no kids, and pretty lonely.

  When my aunt was in a nursing home recouping from hip surgery the lady in the room with her had passed out in her home and lay unconcious for 2 days. Mormons going door to door found her and notified her neighbors. She was taken to the hospital and survived. Guess the Mormons do a better job with the divine intervention thingy.

  Federal Marshals Ad about JW pedophile in Hemmings Motor News...

  as i have only been back for a few days, don't know if this has been commented on:.

  in (iirc) the may issue of hemmings motor news, there is a full page color ad from the dept of justice (federal marshals office) seeking help in finding an ex-jw child molester.

  hemmings is an ad magazine for antique and special interest cars.. he is said to be quiet, neat, unassuming, a jw or exjw, and was thought to be working as a mechanic or restoration expert for vintage cars.. the ad seeks help from people in the car community to bring this creep to justice.. sorry, i cannot recall the name of the guy & we think we have already tossed that back issue...just wondered if anybody else saw this.. james.

  Don't know about Hemmings Motor News, but Frederick McLean is on the US Marshall Service 15 most wanted list. He was interested in old cars according to their info.

  thats what on many occasions our long time family friend (an elder) told us.

  believe it or not, they were saying this in her presence (she was 16 at the time)!!!.

  My mother is now in her 80s and her mind is going fast. No need to say anything more now. She wouldn't remember anyway. In the last few years I have brought up the subject a few times how I was abused as a child - beat & pinched at meetings for not sitting still. She denies it and only remembers one time she had taken me out 3 times and whipped me. I was just beginning to speak in complete sentences. On the way back in the last time she asked me if I was going to behave. I said, "I do it again".

  When I was about 2 yrs old a CO spanked me because my parents let me run around the KH after a Thursday night meeting.

  I have asked why in the world she had me because the Society was telling them even back in the late 1940s not to have children. She just blamed it on my dad. Said it was his fault she got pregnant.

  It is NOT hearsay from family members. It is obvious when seen over a lifetime.

  castle wood reserve lunch meats.....they are the most rubbery disgusting lunch meats i have ever purchased in my life.. i am currently feeding them to the dog for "treats"......gag!.

  their in house pizza was so sickening, i had to throw it out.. r.. .

  Castle Wood is definitely not that good. I bought one of the combo packs and had only tried the ham. It wasn't great but I put lots of mustard and lettuce on it so guess I didn't notice too much.

  My daughter tried the turkey earlier today. After I saw your thread I asked her what she thought of it. She said it's definitely not Boars Head.

  Guess I will buy the BH when it's on sale from now on.

  I don't remember ever hearing my parents say anything like that out loud but I have come to believe in the last few years that my mother has always held it against me for messing up her plans.

  My father & mother had both been pioneering for a while before they got married. The plan was to marry and continue pioneering. She had even considered going to Gilead.

  9 1/2 months after they were married I appeared on the scene and pioneering came to a screaching halt along with all her other plans.

  My cousin just told me last year that she and my aunt (mom's sister) had talked about the way mom had always treated me and they decided it was because I got in the way of her plans. My cousin was very anxious about telling what they felt but finally told me what she was thinking. It was interesting I had already come to the same conclusion.

  i went to a chapters store and tried to order mr. hassans book, and was told they can longer bring it in, as it is no longer published.

  has this news made it here onto the site?.

  amazon.ca has copies starting at 90.00, all the way to almost 275.00 !
