one of the paramount non-profit anti-cult organizations headquartered in the us would like to arrange a two-day conference to be held in nashville, tn in the fall of 2011. this organization sponsors conferences, workshops, local meetings and special lectures, seminars, and other events all over the world for those interested in this subject.
at a nashville conference there will be opportunity to network with and listen to experts in the field and with people adversely affected by cultic experiences.. recently, when examining their records, this organization found that former jehovahs witnesses made up the bulk of those attending their anti-cult workshops which definitely indicates that many former witnesses are seeking help to overcome the damage from cult abuse.
however, the nashville conference will not be solely for former jehovahs witnesses, but will encourage attendance by anyone interested in hearing the experts address psychological manipulation and abuse in cultic groups, alternative movements, and other environments.
I am moving back that way in a couple months so will only be a 4 hour drive away. Definitely interested.

thursday, august 5, 2010. poison tap water has become the number one trending search term on google trends today after our efforts to bring attention to how sodium fluoride in tap water is a deadly health threat went viral.. the subject hit volcanic status shortly after alex jones launched the new anti-fluoride campaign on his show today.. .
click for enlargement.. however, google appears to be censoring the prison planet story we wrote on the subject from appearing in its news section.. the story appears under a routine google search but is apparently being blocked from the news aggregator, thereby preventing people who see the poison tap water search trend from finding out more information about the subject.. alex jones is launching a new campaign to inform the public about the toxic chemical fluoride being added to tap water across the country.
Thanks Snoozy. I never thought to look it up.
We'll just stick with the RO at home cause it takes out all kinds of stuff I'd just as soon not drink. I still drink tap water though other places.

We had a reverse-osmosis system put in which removes lots of junk including the fluoride. I remember reading some bad things about fluoride several years ago so hopefully the RO system will help.
I also found it interesting that here in Arizona we have to pay an extra charge on our water bills for 'Arsenic Recovery'.
my juicer just died - it had been acting up, making slight burning smells.
i didn't allow it a blood transfusion.
i want one that can juice very hard things like fresh ginger root, and is easy to clean.. what make do you have - how long has it lasted?
We have the VitaMix Professional Series 500.
I love it and use it every day. Easy to clean and you get all the good stuff (fiber) in the fruits & veggies - not just the liquid.
It makes smoothies, frozen smoothies/drinks, sorbets and even hot soups. (I only tried the soup once and found I needed to heat it a little more in the microwave.)
A couple friends have had juicers in the past and when I saw how hard they were to clean I realized I would never want one.
do to all the nonsense or rather bs in the watch tower literature, it makes one wonder if it could be used to fertilize your garden, or perhaps not though because it is also full of weeds.
to the truly brain washed, it provides a fertilizer affect don't you think?
it wouldn't even be the proper food for a worm, or insect.
My mother had the idea to use them to prevent weeds from growing also. She put hundreds of them out in the area just beyond a large garden spot.
10 or 15 years later I was cleaning up some of the junk around their place and started pulling all those magazines off the ground. Weeds and grass had grown up between the piles and it couldn't be cut with a mower because of all the magazines.
Amazingly the magazines a couple layers down were almost perfectly preserved. I filled up a nice size portion of a pickup truck bed with them and hauled them to the dump where they belonged.
the officer was very understanding and helpful .
he said you would be surprised how many citizens they have come in and ask how to stop the jehovahs from coming to their doors .. .
i told him my whole story about leaving the jw's after 44 yrs and just wanting peace and freedom .

just setting the record straight.
there is another thread that notes a claim on wiki that said that ray has died.. he had a stroke yesterday, and is in the hospital.
he is still alive.
This is truly sad news. Thank you Ray and Cynthia for all you have done for all of us.
anybody get addicted all over again to pacman - free on google at the moment.
I will have to tell my daughter. She was addicted to Pac Man 30 years ago when she was a kid.
We were camping and she kept slipping off to go to the camp store which had a Pac Man machine. I told her she had Pac Man fever and to stay away from the store and stay with us. That night in the tent she started crying and asked me to check and see if she had a fever. She felt okay. I asked her what was the problem and she sobbed - "I think I have Pac Man fever"

Thanks for posting that article. I forwarded it to a JW friend & some of my JW relatives.
I can't help but suspect someone did not get permission. Unless this is the old double standard (Mexico / Malawi) and they are letting BVI try it. Maybe it will make them seem more main stream and acceptable to the masses.
