by pirata infor the majority of my years in the truth, the "new light" did not bother me at all.. i reasoned this way: "the faithful slave is imperfect, right?
logically they're going to make mistakes.
the main thing is that they're trying to do god's will they best they can and stick as close to the bible as they understand it.

That's some peculiar logic you got going on there. Cain was no more a nation than you or I . I believe that jesus was talking about the church itself being jerusalem and that when the romans destroyed plalestine the christians would be scattered through out the nations, as what the apostles wrote about, and they would be persecuted and murdered by the locals until the last days when the true worship would be restored since the apostle Paul also spoke of a global apostasy , the man of lawlessness revealed by the light of truth. Now in this time which I do believe is the last days after the apointed times had fulfilled there is a church doing that and of course being persecuted but is not trampled on and scattered anymore . The WTBTS says they alone fit the bill but I can see some very serious problems internally with the ever changing dogma as well as some satanic influence .

i was recently directed to post some truths about the harlot, babylon the great, including who she is (i.e., those who profess to be in union with christ, but are not, and so commit fornication with the "kings of the earth" (e.g., persons such as popes, gb members, and other so-called "leaders" who believe they have been given charge over a "kingdom"... but have not... yet (revelation 17:12)... and when they are, it is soley for the purpose of destroying the harlot (revelation 17:13, 16-18)).. some have taken issue with this truth (who babylon the great is), and praise jah, our lord has given me more to share with you on that matter.

this morning at 10:45 a jw appeared at our door, we invited him in and he said the org.

My experience with the j-dubs is they are miserable hypocrites . I think there's another way to identify the fake christians . They trash people behind the back and play all kinds of sick weird games during the meeting .I'm not saying there aren't better ones out there just what I've seen in my life time.There clearly is such a thing as false religion , them boasting in themselves does little to encourage me to call them friend.

It's pretty evident from the bible that only some would reach out for church responsibility so if some didn't want the office of overseer , then they certainly wouldn't qulify for higher positions in the church . I don't know how they appoint their president , I don't believe it should be a life time apointment tho. Taking a name such as president implies exaulting yourself over others where as the whole point is to humble yourself .

I'm sure they consider the editing and publishing work doing their fair share but the bible does stress doing hard physical labor to sustain yourself and not being dependant on anybody for anything if possible .The way they use the word glean in the congregation is absurd as well , whenever they read something they feel as if they are "gleaning" from the article. Everything they need to know about the article is already explained by the WTBTS so there's no "gleaning" involved . It all comes from jehovahs store house .
