  hi guys , i know i was never a favorite here and haven't posted in awhile ... question .

  what do you think of the new understanding of , " this generation " they seem to go in circles on this one big time , once 1914 generation was almost gone they said they didn't know what it meant and now in the new publication the generation includes the second generation after 1914 .... i agree they don't know what they are talking about and this is just another control move .

  any comments ?.

  according to their history the governments have opressed and persecuted them not only that , the world ended invisibly .

  i've noticed allot of attention given to that scripture of late , i've also noticed the wtbts flip flops in dogma , to me it's an obvious contradiction in scripture and was tampered with or an out right forgery .

  praising the romans for using the sword for good is completely outrageous .

  from what i see in the bible is gods hatred of world rulers and not empowering them .

  april 9th is the date set for the annual food denial celebration , complete with a brochure that says , "keep doing this in rememberance of me".

  excuse me but i think he meant the actual eating and drinking part of it .....

  What does the bible really teach ....

  got a copy and been reading it , the first chapter about how god doesn't like human suffering nor causes any of it seems like a fallacy to me .there are plenty of accounts where he personally killed allot of people , noahs ark , moses and pharoah ,it's pretty obvious that god likes to play god and the new testament says he will cause allot more suffering against his enemies .

  memorial 2009

  anybody hear anything special about it ?

  was talking to a witness last night and he mentioned there was some significance to next years memorial in regard to the 1975 date or there about that ended mans six thousand years from creation and now it has something also to do with jesus 33.5 years on earth .

  just curious for more info that may be out there as this person suggested that the remaining remnant were very excited about it..........

  the great crowd in their dogma ,have no spirit yet claim to be christian ... any comments ?

  in short it says that those that do not have christs spirit do not belong to him ....

  announcement at service meeting

  i actually went to the service meeting last night and low and behold the announcement was about the wtbts not charging interest on the loans on kingdom halls anymore but they still had to pay back the principle balance , i never knew they charged interest but think that it was a very dishonest thing for them to do to begin with .

  you have to borrow money to pay for a building that the wtbts owns?

  to charge interest is a very worldly practice since it was against mosaic law to do so and clearly jesus would never have asked anything of the sort .
