the jehovah's witnesses believe jesus is an angel.

they also apparently believe that angels have wings.

jesus was a spirit being before he was born, we're told, and he was resurrected as a spirit (even though jesus insisted he wasn't a spirit), then does he still have his [ring bell] wings?

New F&DS Light question

i have a question about the implications of the new light regarding the f&ds.

sorry if it sounds complicated, i'm not good at explaining things.. .

if the f&ds is now just the few brothers who get together to dispense the food at the proper time, and the f&ds will be appointed over all of christ's belongings, then does that mean they will be appointed above the rest of the 144,000 when they go to heaven?

mostly just to ear mark this one , The appointment came after rutherford proved faithful in prison because of charges of sedition encouraging people to shoot over the enemies head if drafted in WW1 . Their whole dogma is based on 1919 CE, I don't see them changing it . I did think the ajustment this time was damage control because if you read some of those article in recent times they do seem very lack luster and would seem this is about damage control again , I do remember studying with one of these , "elect'", ones a couple years ago and I did say to him he was was not the FD&S, if they are anointed is one thing since the outline in PAULS order was a system of overseers and ministerial servants it clearly says to me that they weren't all capable of leadership , they also had their gatherings in jerusalem to discuss church doctrine , which was not attenended by all . IMO , I see that there was a level playing field and those that could prophesy accurately became the pillar in the church and others that did so falsely were removed from the church or position of authority.

Now that's a fallacy in it's own right , It should say at the end there do you swear to never question WTBTS interpretations and obey the publishing corporation dictates ?? Forget about as revealed through christ jesus part , you being the great crowd are not considered worthy of having a personal relationship with JC. Some interesting points being made about pre baptism spirit adoption but it really doesn't mean salvation without the water baptism and the public preaching and living the life in accord with GODS will and having a strong moral character .. The article the WTBTS put out was not entirely honest as usual. Wish I kept that issue , maybe someone with the bound version has it . About 4 years old

Obviously the two folds dogma is as flawed as anything . I still believe in the elect little flock and the great crowd as portrayed in the bible but the 2 folds were meant that the gentiles were now part of the fold . Whenever there were still actually jews they were always told to seperate from the gentiles for millenia , now the converts are told they have to go out in the nations and preach to gentiles and that the gentiles had equal rights in the heirarchal structure , jews were not the only elect race anymore .

According to peter it was an appeal to GOD for a clean conscience , the sins are still real but if you continue to walk in the light then he will not call them to mind , he merely forgives sins of repentant ones , we are still going to sin regardless but basically it's your willfullness to repent whole heartedly once the sin becomes obvious to you not necessarily others but it's your own conscience that should set off an alarm . Like the apostle Paul states the people of the world have their conscience seared with a branding iron , meaning they have no concept of GODLy principles and standards

I find it interesting that a dub would turn to the police in these matters anyway. The bible clearly states not involvement with the worldly system and to forgive , yet they quickly drop all their dogma in these cases . Living a modest simple life would mean not having anything of value anyway , they seem so hypocritical on the issues of worldly involvement and will even site roman 13 whenever cornered of which I believe is a fraudulent scripture anyway , romans killed people for sport entertainment

i think peter and the rest of the apostles were baptized by john the baptist but only after jesus was resurrected could they receive the holy spirit as he said he would ascend to heaven and send a helper : holy spirit . Later they were all baptized agian in the christian , father son and holy spirit way
