I've heard them use prayers at meetings to insult people , the guy got df'd I think shorlty after . Any way I've never heard them, that I remember, praying for prophesy as the apostle paul encourged them to do , they certainly never asked forgiveness for giving wrong information and false prophesy , generation dogma , FDS dogma , the lords evening meal was supposed to be a church supper and all attendees were expected to eat the symbolic flesh and blood of christ or stay home , according to pauls writings . They really disgusted me last time I visited as the presiding ,"anointed" was quoting what I believe to be fake scripture that states the ruling powers on earth were created for christ and by christ ... they have backed away from the world ended invisibly with the ascent of christ to the throne in heaven in 1914 . Jesus plainly says that satan was behind all man made powers as he rejected satans attempt at bribing him with authority over them for an act of worship .

In revelaiton it does say that all those with the mark of the beast will be destroyed , nobody knows exactly what it is , mainstreamers think it's the RFID chip , WTBTS thinks it's symbolic or perhaps a political card in support of the NWO . Armageddon tho is actually a spiritual war between the saints and church under christ jesus and the world political powers that oppose the kingdom work and are under satanic control . The great fear inspiring day of GOD almighty is after the last saint is martyred .

John 3:16 - "believe" or "exercise faith?" Same thing?

(john 3:16).
she agreed, but then added the jw party line, "you have to exercise faith also.

Another fav of the borg is , the world is passing away and so is it's desire but he that does the will of GOD remains forever . The also like the , be wise my son and make my heart rejoice and give reply to the one taunting me ... Both scriptures indicate actions not just lip praise . There's also jesus command in Mathew to go and make deciples , teaching them all they had learned and baptizing them in name of father son and holy spirit .

the WTBTS does like to add the obedience to themselves as part of excercising faith , I know the apostles realized that it was about the preaching work , WTBTS favorite scripture is the apostle pauls faith without works is dead , jesus did tell the jews to excercise faith in him as the messiah , he did have prophetic warnings as to how Israel was going to be destroyed and when to flee . Most churches would point to the theif on the platform next to jesus having instant conversion and belief and going to heaven but they don't understand he wasn't going to heaven , that may have something to do with the change in translation .

Satan thrown to earth "about" 1914?
by wearewatchingyouman inso i'm thumbing through the new "silver sword" and i notice that in the appendix under "message of the bible" that it says, "about 1914 jesus hurls the serpent satan to the earth...." i can't remeber ever hearing the word "about" and 1914 placed together before in regards to this event.
are there any jwapologists, or anyone else for that matter, who have an explanation for this?.

cold steel - other religions don't calculate the 7 times of daniel , 7 times 360 ( a prophetic year) then a year for a day counting forward in time from 607 bce , the fall of judah and the captivity in babylon begins . You wind up with 1914 the year christ begins his heavenly rulership and the first thing he does is give satan the boot . To me 1914 fits because it matches jesus words of what his presence would be like in mathew 24 , nations would rise against nation and kingdom against kindgom ... more or less pin pointing a world war

anyway if you look at rev 5:10 these look to be the same as the great-crowd, being from the nations etc.
and are dead.

wallsofjericho - that goes back to the rutherfords millions now living fiasco of which you still would be connected to the generation of 1914 of which there is about nobody from that time in the WTBTS . I would think both world wars can be considered a tribulation the world had not known before , certainly WW2 with the atom bomb being dropped and the alleged 6 million jew hollocaust and the persecution of christians that had no nationalistic ideaology . I believe with the rise of the NWO and the 666 beast will be the final test . Daniel 11 and 12 show the king of north and south fighting a war until the end .

The way I see it is the GC are saved during the tribulaion but the remnant are all martyred as in revelation it specifically says that the last of christs brothers is executed by the ax . The WTBTS seems to make up it's own dogma on the issue and claims the 144k simply nod off and are resurrected , does not make sense since in order to qualify you have to share in the same sort of suffering and humiliaiton as jesus .IMO

Once again they ignore how the elect die , they have to be martyred by the hand of world rulers , the only one they ever mention was the guy in a german concentration camp who was beheaded during WW2, IMO it does not include women . I don't get where they think only the generation receives holy spirit ,they never admit being spirit inspired so completely waste everyones time printing opinion they won't admit is opinion .

Jan 2014 WT study - more vomit
by EndofMysteries inarticles such at "100 years of kingdom rule" in which jehovah has 'in a sense' begun ruling as king, and jesus in a sense was made king.
even though the kingdom hasn't actually come.
it's not clear if the 1,000 year reign has began or not, if so only 900 years left of jesus rule?

they sure are turning this into a bigger quagmire , did I read that correctly , the this generation is still that of 1914? Like, who is still alive from that time that is a faithful dub ?I thought the emergency came when they realized there was no one left , you would be at least a hundred years old had you obeyed that first command not to kill but accept the prison sentance as in revelation thus leading to the death of the two witnesses prophesying , symbolizing the shut down of the printing presses and rutherford being incarcerated for sedition> that's their history in the revelation book . I think they did have some things right , whore of babylon ,the beast cenarios I think are fairly accurate . They just seem to not live up to the standards set as far as their leadership goes , I mean the UN thing seems to be a complete fiasco since they did alter the scarlet beast identity to an unkown for a bit as I was there and saw for myself . I agree that they should apologize and ask forgiveness for their mistakes , they do admit mistakes but insist they are not accountable to the church because they are imperfect humans , like we didn't already know that.
