personally I don't have a problem with sadam bombing Isreal,those people are as sick and twisted as the arabs that are in the news lately.

Put me down for a yes on this one ,even though I don't think it is a good idea .I think there is way too much violence in that part of the world as it is and the us does not have the arsenal to do another sustained assault and the current economic situation would only get worse .I am not one of those people who think that military spending will boost the economy and solve the problems we face as a nation however it does seem to be a republican idea since I heard rush limaugh advocating support for it. Maybe they are just waiting to see if that asteroid is going to land on them .hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

by disneycuty ini have a question: as you all know jehovah's witnesses view crystal ball, physics, as demonized or anything that is not suppose to be in the house like tarot cards.
and jehovah's witness believe that the demons would bother them if they do these activities or have them in the house.
do you still believe that or do you think it is the society's way of mind control over their members?

Man you guys are creeping me out with all this electroncic listening devices and voodoo stuff .I'm going to have to sleep with my night light on .wwhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa .I am also aware that spirit divinition is documented in the bible and in most pagan cultures but to consider getting involved in it is not something that appeals to me and I do believe that these so called psychic people are deeply submerged in it.I am alway sure to turn off the sci fi channel whenever john edwards show comes on and definately avoid silvia brown on the talk show circuit.I don't get impressed by this crap at all.

Sorry you don't like my opinion Xander, but I seriously doubt that they will find life on mars and you didn't convince me of anything .Nobody has ever proven that amino acids can evolve into living organisms and I have read some scientific evidence that is more conclusive than what you have stated to the conditions on our planet versus other planets and the significance of all the necessities for supporting and maintaining life .So I am sticking with my conclusion . LoL @ farkel .that's a different circumstance there.

Praying to Jehovah.......

" there are opinions among some students and researchers of the bible to the effect that the god and father jesus prayed to was not jehovah.
just try to find "jehovah" in the sermon on the mount, even in the nwt.

From what I understand the name jehovah was an interpretation of the tetragram YHWH .HOwever the pronounciation of jehovah was in in use before the watchtower started using it by bible scholars .The Watchtower does admit that they cannot prove that this is the correct pronounciation but I know for a fact they are extremely touchy about using any other pronounciation.They argue that the word only translates in one way so they simply went with that.Since jesus is really only referred to as a mediator they came to the conclusion that praying to jesus is defaming GOD allmighty.Which does bring me too another arguement I have with the jw .The bible clearly states that every knee in heaven and earth would bend before jesus but I never see them kneel while praying in a position of humility in fact they want everyone standing during prayer .The last time I went to investigate the goings on of the local cong. I remained seated during prayer (not that I actually prayed along or anything) I do not except their lead in spirituallity and am not a nor ever been a member of the church.The WT however does claim you can remain in any possition during prayer so I can't see how any problem could arise from it anyway unless they decide to be the dick heads we know they can be.

I saw it today and can agree with some of the plot problems as mentioned thus far .I personally was thinking more of special effects and mell being the hero of the day in an all out fight for human kind . As I see it though if the aliens were in space with minimal gravity for a long period of time,that might explain the inability to use force .The obvious over site on using encounter suits due to their weekness to water can not be explained away, that definately made the story look rediculous . Over all I did give it thumbs up ,the kids, I thought did a great job acting .

Read the book myself a couple of months ago .This will definately outdo most alien encounter movies because the plot is so extremely bizarre . Reading the book first is probly a good idea since it really gets wierd,and I always feel that king is a better writer than his movies can make it out to be .

no I don't think they will find life on mars ,the environment is too hostile with extreme cold and poisonous gasses I couldn't see a planet such as mars capable of supporting biological life as we know it.

I must like this place cause I spend alot of time reading posts, I do have interest in religion although not a practicing memember of religion .I can say that since I've been coming here I have increased my writng ability in that I never took time to write anything .I find that the chat room is probly the best on the internet and more fun than others I've visited.I have found alot of comedians that at times make me laugh till I cry .
