Sometimes,.. but apparently God does, so I'll have to take his word for it.
Do others love to be around me? Well, I hope so, I love others alot, even those who don't love me.
I think feeling valued by others, helps us feel value in ourselves.

hi everyone, im new.
i've been feeling a burden on myself for the years that i have been out and i just don't know how to ease it.
i can't talk about the organization or the people in it to anyone... if i try i immediately feel sick and want to close up and just disappear.
I just dont know what to do I have what appears to be anxiety disorder that i developed while i was still in it... i get depressed and stressed out and i start throwing up for no reason. I guess Im just looking for a sympathetic ear? If anyone has any advice on coping... please share. Its still really hard. I left it at such a weird time and had been so dedicated that i had 1 friend from high school and a few friends left at work after it was done. I feel so socially awkward and removed from people now that i just dont even feel like i know how to socailize.. sorry for the ling as post... and thanks for reading... -aimless
Aimless- I get it. My heart is with you. Hang in there and don't let your body punish you for the pain your mind is in, sometimes we try self-dicipline, even if we don't deserve it. I am at work now, but expect a PM from me tomorrow.

The confusion is that there must be a true "religion/organization" Jesus actually said completely the opposite when explaining to the women at the well the way we are to worship God.

Religion likes to make themselves necessary, a way and means to salvation, and in essence tries to substitute themselves for Christ. People like to grab onto things that they can see, it gives them security. This leads to substitution of truth for Religion.

i am trying to get my brother to go speak to someone just to help him because he is very depressed(we all know why).
he said the only person he would speak with is this brother who is a psychologist.
i really find it hard to believe that a jw could practice with the realization the whole organization is about mind control.
Not and help anyone Who was a JW. I was sent to one years ago and it was disasterous. If he wants professonal Help he should go to someone outside the organization. The "brother" has an agenda that will get in the way of your Brothers healing.

Well this is going to completely give away my nerdiness but.....
Gone With the Wind to many times to count. It's sequal Scarlett. The Winds of War, War and Peace, War and Remembrace.. GREAT books by the way. Great expectations, oliver Twist, Tale of Two Cities. most of Dickens. Moby Dick, Huckleberry Finn, Tom Sawyer... Ya get the idea. Used to have an obsession with reading all the classics.
I have to say I love Tom Clancy and have read everything he wrote Solo.

I think your heart is lovely. Being a Christian is simple and pure. It is when men get invovled that it becomes so distasteful. Why is that? Because they add their own seasoning to the food,... and yuk. Jesus came to earth and removed burdans, why would he after he left impose upon his followers new ones? I have been reading John 15 recently and it is refreshing to see how Jesus intended his "body" to be. Full of his love, being expressed to others.

You quoted a favorite scripture of mine. "a friend and I have a saying we are fond of~ " going behind the curtain". He eliminated the wall of hostility, no barriers anymore. He justifies us before the face of God. His blood on the mercy seat of God's throne, as we bow before it. Wow, I really can't think of a greater privelage then to have Jesus as my advocate.

it's not just for sexual reasons either, though that's important sometimes, i just really like being around women.

I love women. The female soul is a wonderful thing.
Women are less judgemental and more accepting.

I have to agree with this... women are much less judging and more willing to accept. Which works in the favor of men. Maybe cause we feel empathy stronger. I think though that a person is defined by their qualities not gender.
