A kind response to Jim Penton & Ros of Channel C

the following are transports of postings on http://www.channelc.org/ made by jim penton and ros regarding myself and james caputo respectively.

the reason that i did not post directly on channel c is that ros and many of her board participants do not like to see anything that resembles catholic discussion, even if the responses are done respectfully and in a spirit of clarifying a false claim or misunderstanding.

i too do not like "catholic" discussions on channel c, and have not posted there for 9 months until i recently posted an announcement about tom cabeen's interviews on ewtn and with randy watters.

Fjtoth has made fun of lots of us and used hurtful words in emails like so much fire on people. Jim W is a gentleman who has defended silentlambs in the courtroom. I stand with Jim. Why else?

For one thing, Penton is indeed very brusque and in the opinion of many he is a know-it-all who really isn't. True, he's good even superb at research and writing but quite lacking in social skills. I have nothing against him being a Bible Student as he can believe whatever he wants. But he definitely does like to jump down people's throats and seems a bit paranoid, definitely anti-Catholic but also anti- a lot of Protestant groups too.

As for Ros, she also started and has Christian Quest. It has pretended since 1999 to provide an alternative to the Watchtower Society. In fact it is a phoney which deadends would-be starter-uppers of any independent non-Watchtower group. Like choking infants in the crib. She pretends to be lady-like but that's a sham too.

I'm not Catholic. I'm an independent Christian. When growing up I heard it said (falsely) that Catholics worship idols. They pray before statues but do not worship them. Those have been used from the earliest Christian times for helping focus their thoughts, meditations, prayer, not recipients of worship.

Bible Students and their sympathizers like Ros and Jim Penton are also like Watchtower in misteaching another concept. Both Protestants and Catholics most all agree there are three persons in one godship or highest degree of holiness, the trinity, the supreme sphere for worship or God, though it is acknowledged Christ said the Father is greater.

The BS's are anti-this teaching, hence sadly separating themselves along with Watchtower from most all Christian Protestants and Catholics alike. They misteach that other Christians worship a three-headed God instead of three persons in what Romans 1:20 says is godship. I'd add that Fjtoth also misunderstands and misteaches on this. He's had a house-church around Toronto. I doubt it exists anymore or will much longer if it does since he is so dogmatic and supercilious about this, too.

and wts don't have good motives, what is the point of the whole religion?

i mean, it doesn't appear that anybody is getting rich or am i missing something.

Well, Chitty and Greenlees are dead now, but Jaracz and others are still alive enjoying Governing BODY perks when they travel such as five star hotels, great meals, idolization by followers, other things Jaracz et all have gotten their hands or whatever on.

It's said the Watchtower C.O.'s and D.O.'s enjoy getting expensive watches, cash etc from elders who later get bigshot convention speech parts.

There's been some 23,000 case files on JW pedophiles (secreted on computer upstate) enjoying all the perks they could want, namely dining on young human flesh.

Motives don't have to be just cash.

I didn't write the article. A newspaper did. As to the Watchtower's quote, it's from their own PR spokesman. Silentlambs quote is from Silentlambs. It's good the police rescued the kids and women.

There are also reports that some of the male children were sexually molested by FLDS elders. It's like that with the Watchtower Society for a fact.

Crematorium oven allegedly ordered for polygamist temple by Warren Jeffs

Some former or expelled members of Warren Jeffs' FLDS sect recently told ABC 4 News about some disturbing projects ordered by their former leader. One of those projects called for the acquisition of a thermostat used for controlling a crematorium oven, a device so powerful and hot, it would be capable of destroying human DNA.

The knowlege of the crematorium thermostat is raising some concerns in the law enforcement community, especially when one considers a drastic and brutal doctrine within the polygamst sect.

It's called blood atonement. Warren Jeffs has been preaching it for years. Now some who have left his FLDS church say he may be ready to put into practice what he has preached.

Blood atonement as taught by Jeffs means that the atonement of Jesus Christ does not cover all sins in all circumstances. "He no longer believes in forgiveness and repentance. That's a thing of the past. It's over," said FLDS dissident Ross Chatwin.

Carolyn Jessop, another dissident, confirmed that when Warren Jeffs talks about the shedding of blood, he's not just talking about a couple drops. She said, "Your priesthood head or whoever is god to you -- for a woman that would be her husband ... your throat is slit from ear to ear."

Chatwin is worried. "There's a lot of people gone. I have no idea where they're at. Warren may be doing these blood atonements now."

Still, no one on the outside can say with any certainly what Jeffs may be doing. Not only has he scattered his faithful among several compounds, but he limits or even forbids communication. Talking to the wrong person could put a follower's eternal welfare in jeopardy.

Isaac Wyler, who has heard Jeffs preach on the subject says there are people who are willing. "I know men have asked Warren ... Men have come to him that have been kicked out and have asked for the privilege of blood atonement so they can be saved."

If and when Warren Jeffs puts his bloody teaching into practice, Carolyn Jessop knows where it will take place. Her ex-husband now runs the FLDS ranch near El Dorado, Texas. That ranch is the site of a temple -- a new concept for the polygamist sect.

"It's an actual ordinance," said Jessop of blood atonement. "It has to be performed in a temple." "There are certain crimes that are considered a 'sin unto death' that have to be paid for by blood atonement," Jessop explains. "For a woman it would be adultery or leaving your husband as I did. I've committed a 'sin unto death'. What I've done can only be paid for by blood atonement."

What's more, if she were still in the FLDS Church, Jessop says she wouldn't have a choice in the matter. She says according the FLDS doctrine, "...I belong to my husband. He has the right to make that choice for me. That's not necessarily something I can say I want or don't want. If my husband feels like that's an ordinance he wants me to have, I have no right to refuse that ordinance."

Jessop says she's staying far away from that FLDS temple in Texas.

In my opinion Watchtower's worst fanatics are ever bit as dangerous. Silentlambs.org notes:

At that timeSilentlambs pointed out over 3,500 Elders and Ministerial Servants had been reported as molesters to Silentlambs.

3,500/12,300 = 29% however some are not elders but ministerial servants so the percent of pedophile elders may be only 20% or one in five of whom maybe only one in twenty at most (that is an estimation of 5% or so) have also been reported to police and sentenced to prison.

P.S. I have another email here and usually just read but thought most of you weren't aware of this other reason the FLDS is so dangerous. Rape and pedophilia commonly go hand in hand with secret murders among dangerous cults.

Yes, we care. Nations want to appear like they are not anti-Islam so much that they do not take action against slavery and injustices such as Islam (Sharia) law which requires chopping off people's hands and feet. Instead of showing "tolerance' it shows up more as "cowardice."
