  Who is Charles Sunutko?

  in the spring of 1967 district overseer charles sunutko gave in sheboygan, wisconsin, the talk, "serving with everlasting life in view"

  a recording of that talk is available on the internet at several places, easily found by a google search.. but who is (was?

  ) charles sunutko?.

  i was recently reading about this guy, famously recorded spouting off his infamous gem of a quote.

  i looked on a people search site and came up with his phone number and address (although, who knows if it's the right one, and old one etc...).

  i don't want to break any rules about posting someones phone number and address...but feeling mischevious, i thought it would be fun to channel the 13 year old in me, and crank call him...hmmm tempting.

  Disfellowshipped Facebook friends?

  i just recently friended someone i knew many years ago.

  they have been disfellowshipped for a number of years.

  i am currently not da'd or df'd so if the elders wanted could they disfellowship me for having a fb df'd friend?.

  LDRNOMO...Another thing you can do, which I have done recently is restrict your wall, pictures, comments etc to 'friends only' and not 'friends of friends'. Maybe you have done this already. It's amazing to me how many people have no idea how to set their privacy settings.

  If you got apostate vids on Youtube take em off now!!! Legal Dept to Sue!

  i've posted this on the wrong section so i'm posting it on here cos its sort of to topic as i know many of you have vids on youtube.

  legal department are beginning legal action against google and its uploaders regards to apostate vids that slander the watchtower and/or contain copyrighted material!!!

  my hubby knows people who know so heres my warning lol.

  Sorry to the OP if you are sincere and you are giving a warning based on a real concern...but...this is ridiculous. WT is not going to go after a bunch of XJWs / opposers for random critical videos re: the society. It would be a bottomless pit...even though they have free lawyers, filing a lwasuit still costs money, not to mention bad press (something they can't afford) The most they will do is send an email to youtube if they think they have grounds to have something taken down, which theu have obviously done.

  Also, unless you are sincerely laughing out loud all the time, I would refrain from typing : lol after everything, it really sounds childish and takes away from your credibility.

  Dear Watchtower

  Recently I started a thread on an "apostate" discussion board about school sports and whay many of us couldn't play. First of all, will I be destroyed at armaggedon for logging onto JWD. My second question, why the F#c% wasn't I allowed to play football in High School? Oh and Baseball would have been fun too. Thanks for depriving me of these joys to please my elder father and pioneer mother oh and Jehovah too? Oh sorry that's not a question. Damn you old fools!

  I talked to a friend yesterday at the meeting, who I had hoped was a closet doubter. He glowingly said that there is a new release for young kids that is wonderful, but he didn't want to "spoil" it for me. ** puke **

  just started watching 'friday night lights' .... great show, but it's making me a little bitter!

  17 years after high school, i am still bummed i didn't get to play football or baseball.

  i knew my elder dad would get busted from the others in the elders club.

  Doubting Bro...that's what I'm talkin'bout...I know a few of those too. 1 MS, and a widowed pioneer sis, who's young son plays basketball in Jr High. I think people are learning to stay out of others peoples buisness, well, in some congos anyway. Congregation dynamics from city to city, state to state are a funny thing. I agree it teaches kids some great lessons!

  i can only recall a handfull because the rest were unimpressive or i was not real active during the visit of some.

  most cos that i recall were humdrum with perhaps some single interesting feature or personality quirk.
