William Osbeck-The CO that helped me get out of the borg.
by Sadie5 inafter reading cruzenheart's post on the letter about her father, and the treatment he received from the co, william osbeck, and the elders of his congregation, it brought back my own memories of this particular co and his treatment of people.
it was 1995 and one of the hardest years of my life.
in february of that year, i learned i was pregnant with our fifth child.

UPDATE!!!
I finally got a reply from the paper I sent the email to. (see original copy at top of thread) After, not hearing anything for a week and a half, then seeing the "fluff" article I knew they would write...I was frustrated so I sent a few more. Here is the reply I just got:
The story you are talking about is extremely difficult to do without
people willing to come forward and allowing their names to be used.
Are their any names and cell phone numbers for current Witnesses and
ex-Witnesses you can provide me?
There haven't been protests outside the Dome over shunning of
ex-members for several years. Will there be any protests this year?

Update on Alan Feuerbacher's heart attack that he had last Sunday
by AndersonsInfo inalan'swife, julie, talked to the cardiologist this morning.
the news about alan's heart is good.
he described the heart attack as mild and said that although there is damage to the lower portion of his heart, the pumping action probably won't be affected much.

Wouldn't that be awesome...a 1 hr prome time special on the 'secret world of Jehovah's Witnesses' (something dramatic like that anyway)
Someone has to expose the instructions in the elders book (or crap written in the margins) about calling the legal dept from a payphone.
We need an ex JW with some good media connections!!
