  i wanted to consolidate a lot of the information about the attack of anonymous against the watchtower society.

  if you disagree with the tactics of anonymous, that's fine.

  this information may still be useful as the public is made more aware of the the dangerous policies of the watchtower society.

  Would someone volunteer to make a pdf PRESS KIT...maybe?

  i had this idea while reading bangalore's thread about the abuse telememo form.

  it would be cool to have a downloadable pdf that we could forward to newspapers, tv talk shows etc...a standard one, that covers some of the main big deal issues with the wts.. i would do it myself, but i don't really feel as eloquent as some are.

  i know a few posters here that would do an awesome job.

  I'll never forget being a young MS back in the early 90s, I had a little "get together" at my house and 1 of the elders who was there (young-save the world type guy) was snooping in some cabinets in my living room...I remember walking in and seeing him thinking WTF? I didn't think much of it at the time, just that it was weird. Anyway he saw a VHS tape of a Harrison Ford Movie (Presumed Innocent) that happened to be' Rated R'...oh the horror.

  So later on that evening when he was leaving, he pulled me aside and informed me it was "grounds for removal" (meaning my MS'ship) to watch rated R movies. I humbly took the counsel and said sorry...I wanted to ask him where that was specifically written so I could see it myself. I figured it was a letter or CO instuction, but I didn't ask...just took my whoopin' like a good little elder-pee-on (aka MS)

  It didn't stop me from watching "evil" R rated movies though...just got better at hiding them. And didn't invite holier-than-thou elders over to my house anymore.

  Terry, your warning is duly noted..I understand the points you are making. While I don't think I would ever get involved even if I was a hacker. I would be too chicken to actually do anything illegal. I am a little giddy about the thought of the WT losing face because of this, although I realize it's wishful thinking. I'd be very astonished if something like this actually brought them down. They are just too big and too rich...and they have almighty God's backing (ok that part is BS...lol) but...all that said. I wouldn't be unhappy if a vigilante killed a serial child molester. I guess that's how I look at this. Watching from the sidelines, I'lll be smiling if a little hacking truely hurts the WT INC. ~TD

  i remember a few years back being involved in the campaign work, and having the distinctly awkward experience of having to hand the householders this piece of sh1t tract "the end of false religion is near!"..

  i recall the discomfort i had trying to get into a conversation about this nonsense.

  ...probably faded from most JW minds. I remember this was the last campaign I was involved in when I still believed it all. I was an MS being courted for elder-ship. That next summer I was lurking on JWD...and the house of cards was falling down.

  anthony's remarks aren't all together that interesting in this clip, although he does relate a disturbing story of a two-year-old girl who was allowed to watch the dvd eight times in quick succession.

  Unfortunately my kid saw the video...eagerly presented by the uber-JW Gma. Fortunately my wife, although a believer is a JW-LITE. My kid liked it...but now, right back to watching disney movies with magic etc...and using his active imagination. So seeing it a couple times didn't have any effect. thank goodness. It has since accidentally been scratched and now wont work. oops.

  Bump TTT!

  Hmmm, not sure about Mafia, Murders and Kidnappings...seems a little sensational. I can't really imagine WT being involed with putting a hit on someone, or kidnapping. But then again, stranger things have happened.

  I can barely hack my way into my own bank account, let alone a secure network. So for all us non hackers, what can we do? More for fun than anything else, but I've been sending out emails to JWs (whos email addy I find on the pastebin file) and just sending info like jwfacts.com or the pastbin link itself.

  You can open a secure free email account at hushmail.com if you are worried about I.P.s being traced etc. Like I said, more fun than anything that will really have any effect...but it is theraputic.

  The most recent one I sent this morning was to an RBC honcho who lives in Hayward, CA...I found his email at the bottom of the lattest info:

  the gloves are now well-and-truly off.

  referring to facebook as a "social networking website" clearly isn't working.. the society now feels compelled to start being more specific about which websites it doesn't want you to visit!.

  I think they know...they can't do an all out NO FB rule. I doubt that will ever happen. Nobody pays attention to these 2 bit little rants in watching the world...what a joke!
