Well, I talked with two active JWs about the latest understanding of the F&DS.

i know a brother who went to the most recent annual meeting.

older brother, non-annointed, elder, wife a pioneer, and overall a pretty good dude.

he let me take a peak at the new awake dropping in 2013, which by the way i have to give credit where it's due as i like the new 16 page format.

it's nearly 2 months now but mrs punk finally left myself (mentally diseased apostate tm) with my 2 non kingdum hell attending boys.. she left when my jw daughter moved out and they moved in together.

i don't think it'll be long before my daughter gets sick of her mum but there you go!!.

i received a call from mrs punk to say: 'i didn't leave you because of the religion!'.

Had a visit on Saturday from 2 JWs

in the course of my encounter i let them know how i felt about their shunning policy and how it destroys families, and referenced oompa.

the lady said there would be more suicides if they didn't disfellowship people!

SAD news about OOMPA......

our friend, oompa, has passed away.

just recieved the news a couple of hours ago, and have almost no details.

it happened today or yesterday, he took his own life.

I loved the boy. He was so gentle, kind, honest, sweet and just wanted to enjoy life.

Thank you for sharing your story Myway! I always thought it would be so wonderful to be able to adopt a child - parents like you are my heros.

30 years is a long time to be DF'ed. It has been 5 for me. Some days I am still so angry that 3 idiots had the audacity to disfellowship me in my absense and then other days I thank my lucky stars that I was cut free from the cult forever.

Please share more of your life us.

what i do remember is that we rode up with a car full of other female witnesses.

I Do Not Think Everyone That is a JW Wastes Their Life

my 97 year old grandmother died last week.

she was actually born and raised a jw.

her mother (my great grandmother) was a russelite.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments. I really do appreciate them. I was thinking last night how both my grandparents were born to Ukrainian immigrants (peasants). The religion provided them with a purpose that their life may have lacked otherwise. Who's to say? Anyway thank you all for weighing in.

Ignorance is bliss for many in JW world. They are happy and should be left alone. It is the unhappy ones that we need to reach.
