  Nov. WT: Paradise of Pleasure

  i was reading through the nov. wt that ynot posted.

  there was an article that referred to the garden of eden as the "paradise of pleasure".

  that wording did not set right with me.

  about 50,000 jws went to kamloops bc this year and spent an average of $1500 dollars per family for food, accomodation and gas.

  don't forget the GB had profit on their minds. They evidently got kick backs from the Kamloops Tourism bureau at the JWs expense. Ya the GB got free motel rooms and free food to fill there fuckin fat bellys

  WT backtracking fast on Book Study -High Gas Prices

  so tonight the congregation discussed the front page of the october km -the new meeting schedule.

  straight away it was emphasized it was not because of high gas prices that the meetings were being reduced.

  it was pointed out that in parts of the world the brothers do not have cars so it was not high gas prices.

  i prefer jpg if possible and please include the caption "do you wisely destroy apostate literature?

  Hi V

  Just a tip . You might want to ask Atlantis to scan that as a TIFF image. Then you can do all sorts of colour correction etc that you can't do with a jpeg. Yes I know asking for a TIFF from fellow JWDers is like trying to find ice cubes in hell but it is worth a try. BTW I have the jan 15 and feb 15 watchtowers and rev climax if you ever need a good scan from them.

  Oh one more thing that some (actually everyone )persons don't realize is that scanned text looks crummy in jpeg but very nice as TIFF

  as most of us know on the board - awhile back the watchtower society printed a brochure called : "charitable planning to benefit kingdom service worldwide.

  " it was written to provide info to witnesses on a variety of ways that gifts may be made to the society presently or at death.

  i have a lurking witness friend on the board who sent me the nov. 15th watchtower and it has an article entitled, " ways in which some choose to give ".
