gods justice did not require an exact equivalent man-for-man sacrifice between the first adam and jesus, the second adam.

gods gift required more.

hey just wondering, when i get my pet lion in the new system,tm am i going to have to suffer the loss of my beloved pet?.

i recently lost my pet and being an animal lover, let me tell you, i took it pretty hard.

lots of "tears" along with plenty of "mourning" and "outcry" and "pain"... .

anyone see the recent cnn special on jonestown?

it really bothered me, particularly when listening to the survivors talk about the amount of control exerted over them; they were afraid, terrified, couldn't just walk away, family members were snitching on each other, families were split up in the end, tugged out of arms, they were well dressed seemingly happy people who were clapping and cheering until you looked in their eyes.. the similarities with the jws isstaggering.

well, they are up to their old tricks again.

trying to manipulate rank and file members views of what " real love " is again.. the title of the study article is " love that never fails " .

as my jw daughter so succinctly informed me a couple weeks ago that the most important way jehovah's witnesses are counseled to " show love " is by preaching the good news door to door.

Dr. Banda required everyone in his country to carry a political card. They had a one-party system in Malawi of which he was the leader, but he wanted everybody in the nation to carry a party card. Well, Jehovah's Witnesses refused, and as a result of their refusal to carry this plastic, many of them were killed. So, just an organizational decision like that caused people to lose their lives.

What percentage of males to females in the congos?

i have heard that there is way more females in most congregations.

it seems the males are doing 12 hour a day window washing jobs and have no more energy left to attend a mind control session.

i am feeling sick after reading the question box - it's so cold and unfeeling toward those who use the telephone to listen to congregation meetings.. .

the wts desire to control their weakest members - the infirm and chronically ill - by guilting them into "putting forth the effort to be personally present " at the kingdom hall is disgusting.. .

Need help disproving 607BCE

i hope i am posting in the right board.. anyway, i am newly out of the org, and have a dear friend who i've been speaking to all along about my thought process/decisions.

she has been hesitantly receptive (how's that for confusing?!

lol) and when i brought up 607bce to her yesterday, she was truly intrigued and had not heard of this as a false date before.. she is still half in/half out, so i know she isn't going to do a lot of naughty independent research on her own.

What about the true apostates. The Watchtower made a big doctrine change in 1995 concerning the generation which proved that they were in spiritual darkeness.
