i have a job in retail working nights and weekends.
i was sick of christmas music from black friday on--the first day it was played.
don't get me wrong, traditional christmas music is ok in moderation, but remixes and every tom dick and harry doing it is enough to drive one insane!
I love "O Holy Night" by John Berry. It really is what Christmas is all about...not all the commercial aspect of it.
By the way I put up my first Christmas tree ever! A woman I am dating helped me with it...had Christmas music playing, drank hot chocolate, it just felt really good and there is no reason for JW's not to celebrate this holiday.

I don't know any that were involved in a car chase but I know many many jw's that were in car groups!

my jw-ex-wife told me this the other day...the one df'd three times and reproved twice that i know of (oh the irony of speaking of morals)...she was going on about evil movies and the violent cage boxing/wrestling events (sorry i forget the name of these).....well i went off!.....i asked her how can she say that when in jesus day and shortly after....the romans...in real life let huge animals devour humans as they tried to fight off the animals!.....and they watched real people hack each other to bits withs swords!.....and that in live plays people would have sex and such.....and these were open public events.....not things in dark warehouses in third world countries......she just got mad............oompa.
there was even "temple prostitutes" in the bible....now that could get me back to the meetings.
oompa I always thought that entertainment was worse right after jesus than it is now. Whenever a "brother" would say something negative about football I always thought about those christians being devoured by lions for entertainment...noway football is even close to being as bad!
yes it was choke full of witnesses even the brother giving the public talk on sunday, so for a ma 15+ rating with lots of violent killings why were they there?
and sooooo friendly to us with the "love bombing" ......my wife sort of falls for it but i just want to chew my own foot off and run......i was the 007 legendary "love bomber" no one escaped my puppy dog eyes!
