I'm trying to find out who he stalked and will update as soon as I found out. I don't go to that hall anymore as I am df'd and will never step foot in a kingdom hall again so i'm not sure what the elders have done about it.

JW ADVANTAGES vs DISADVANTAGES
by DesirousOfChange inthis earlier topic [why do it feel bad about my children leaving jw religion?

My girlfriends kids are truely good kids. They don't smoke, do drugs or engage in "fornication". The 2 girls are 17 and 15 and her son is 11. They are all honor roll students enrolled in advanced classes. They all are focused on getting a good college education and don't want to do anything to get in the way of their goal. They don't get in any trouble in fact they are better behaved then most jw teens i knew. They have managed to to steer clear of trouble without the WTBTS or any religion for that matter telling them do's and don'ts. they have a very close relationship with their mom and they tell her everything to which I am amazed by. I to have been able to talk to them about anything and hopefully I give them good advice to help them make good decisions. So i guess my point is you don't need the Org or any other religion to raise kids of good character...just be a good parent and communicate with them and help them set goals so they can live to their potential. The Org left generations of kids not living up to their full potential and thats what angers so many of us that are well past our prime and our potential.

Black Friday Stampedes VS. District Convention Morning Gate Openings
by Mr. Falcon inhas anyone had a jw rant to them around christmas time about how "horrible" it is to be a "worldly" person at that time of year?.
certian jws love to use the infamous black friday shopping riots that tend to occur as examples to back up this argument.
now, while those incidents are indeed disgraceful, they are hardly isolated to the "world".. among my "priveliges" was to be an attendant at a few district conventions.

Yeah I remember the Cold Cup Room at Hawthorne Park. It was a waste of time trying to get those seats because even if you were the first to get to them they were already saved by those privledge brothers that were already inside before the doors opened. I remember saving some seats one time and some other family just threw our books on the floor. Now mind you these were not special seats just seats in the back row and the family that took them were very over weight and I guess it would have killed them to walk down a few steps to seats that were not taken. I even asked them why did you throw our books on the floor and they just stared forward and would not answer me...I called them assholes and had to go get some other seats. That was the last time I ever went to an assembly there.

Are you a fader, Df'd, DA'd, or Still In?
by brotherdan ini thought this would be an interesting poll that would show everyone the backgrounds of all of us when we left, if we have.. for myself, i am not df'd, but i am attempting a fade.
i still go to some meetings with the wife to help with kids, but that's it.
no commenting or field service.. what about everyone else?.

DF'd in December 6th 2006. Funny how I can't remember the day I was baptised but no problem remembering when they announced I was no longer a JW.

As a Bears fan let me say that when Jay Cutler gets his MRI there better be something torn in his knee. If no damage found I think he better pack his bags and get out of Chicago as the Fans will never forgive him for being a whimp and sitting out the 2nd half of the NFC Championship game!
I was at a bar with friends and family watching the game, one of my friends had a Jim McMahon jersey on. I pointed at the name on the jersey and told everyone, "That guy would have NEVER sat out the game and you would have had to carry him off the field"!
My hats off to our 3rd string QB Hainey who actually came in almost led the Bears to a comeback...He showed he had the tougness and most important the HEART to get in there and try to win! Cutler showed us how to sit on the sidelines and pout like a baby...he does not have the intestinal fortitude to play in the NFL.
