by laverite ina full billboard ad in my area along a busy heavily travelled highway would cost about $500.
would probably get lots of attention and maybe even a news article, who knows.
$500 is cheap and easily affordable.

I agree with Barbara... the billboard should target non-jws driving by with a short to-the-point message. The message should be non-offending to jws as to not drive those on the sidelines deeper into the cult.
I really liked the suggestion posted earlier that said something like "Did you know that JWs have a do-not call list?..." Then direct them to a web site.
How about opening a site called stopknocking.com where a repository of phone numbers and addresses to contact (local KHs and Bethels) can be provided depending on where you live?
How about writing down a few ideas and putting it to a vote on this board?

DT, those are great marketing ideas. I agree that the key here is to have a message that will trigger the highest response and "call to action" (i.e. going to a web site).

So let me get this straight: Jordan prays to god for the money to be returned so that he can go spread his christrian gospel (note: apostate, satan-controlled religion) as a missionary in Haiti?
God answers his prayers by sending the jw to return the money!
The JW has done a very evil deed, indeed. lol
I guess Jordan won't be converting to a jw as a result.

How common is swinging among JWs?
by JimmyPage inmy wife and i recently heard about two couples we know who switched partners in the past.
we then got to talking about a different couple we ate dinner with a while back who i thought gave off the vibe of wanting to swing.
my wife said she got that vibe too... thus the question: how common is this in wt-land?.

MY QUESTION is, 2 witness couples sitting in a room, one is an elder and his wife.... how the hell does the conversation start and how does it lead to swapping? Who makes the first move and how did they simultaneously overcome the 'this is a terrible sin' barrier?
And most importantly, why weren't we ever invited to these parties? LOL
