however she want's to come and visit me and my wife on christmas day .
she lives in another state and wants spend the night.
She want's to visit her non jw sister in another state our house is half way between mom's house and my aunt's house. she wouls only be spending xmas day and night with us. My wife suspects that she wants to stay at our house on xmas because my aunt would never agree to the non celebration of xmas terms.
It is so hard because i miss my mom so much, but the jw control thing really bothers me

My wife and I have made plans to for christmas with our grown children to have xmas dinner with them at their house. what do i do? We have invited her to our home many other times and she has always declined.
By the way my wife is not nor has ever been a jw.

Pork Chops with Peaches
You may grill these pork chops outside or cook them on the stove. Either way, the peaches do the trick.
•2 boneless pork chops, lightly dredged in
•1 tablespoon flour seasoned with salt & pepper and a pinch of dried rosemary
•1 teaspoon olive oil
•1 tablespoon shallots, finely chopped
•2 medium sized ripe peaches, peeled and sliced in half inch wedges
•1/2 cup of dry white wine
•1 teaspoon unsalted butter
•1 teaspoon fresh rosemary leaves, chopped fine
•Dash cayenne pepper (optional)
•Salt & pepper to taste

which would you choose and why?.
I would love to have been old enough in the 60's and 70's to confront the WTBS's Governing Body in a public forum and ask them in front of reporters about their 1975 Armageddon prophesy. I would have loved for them to put in writing (in a newspaper or on TV) their prophesy. That way it would have been even more difficult for them to weasel out of it later. I was convinced to get baptized at 12 years of age in early 1975 due to the impending destruction. What did i know at 12? This mistake on my part caused me to lose my entire family later.
i have been feeling very blue and hopeless lately.

i called ray to hear it from the someone in the know, as to what really goes on in the gb meetings and if they really believe what they say.

Yes someday I would like to meet him. I was not sure i could go on with life any more today due to missing family still in the organazation and remembering the terrible things that happenened to me while I was a witness.(child abuse) Ray was a kind voice , It was just enough to keep me from going over the edge.
