Ok perhaps yu are just misinformed change name. Please check this out for yourself as to the truthfulness of the wbts. They claim that jeruselem was destroyed in 607bc. There is no archelogical or historical evidence to support that claim. Why do they make that claim? Where do they come up with that date. This date is what they base all of their beliefs on regarding bible and wt chronology. Please tell me why they would persist in promoting this date.

I have never claimed to be an atheist by the way, Just because i do not believe in hell does not make me an atheist. In fact one of the tenants of witnesses is their rejection of the hellfire doctrine. Does that make them atheists?

The Jehovahs witness organazation is a cult. They lie, promote false predictions, and are nothing more than a publishing corporation. I do not believe in hell so my answer to yourquestion is no. I want know how you respond to this question change name; How do you respond to the gb making predictions that never come true ie 1975, 1914 etc. How do you explain their joining the UN as an NGO ( especially after all the talk about it being a "disgusting harlot") Did not the biable not say "beware of false prophets" I challange you to respond to these questions change name. Forum Owner and Member Integrity
by Simon insome people recently raised concerns about security of the site relating to whether forum members could be watchtower plants trying to obtain information about people.
apparently, this was because a previous forum that was setup was either owned by or later handed over to someone who used it to collect personal information about people which was then used to harrass them.
i don't know all the details, i'm just paraphrasing what i've heard and recognize that it's a concern to some people.. i want to first of all put people's minds at rest: i've been running this site for what will be 13 years next month.

I think some of us live in a state of paranoia. As for me I feel simon and his wife have nothing to gain by being less than trustworthy. I also thank them for giving me this outlet.

I got baptised to make a dying man happy. It was my father, and i was only 12 years old. He died 2 months later. I did not even understand the baptismal questions. the elder coached me through them. So sad that they hold me to a commitment that i did not understand. In my country minors can not be held to contracts (US)
