some years ago the legal department of the watchtower sent out a letter about child custody materials.
i strongly need a copy af this letter (if possibly with a date) for documentation.
if you have a copy of this letter, please mail me a copy.
Hi Elsewhere,
Thanks for the link - it was exactly what I was looking for!
Now I only need a date for the letter, or a known date for one sent out. It's not the end of the world if I don't get it but it would be of great help for documentation.

I need a copy of the letter to prove that they knew to the existence of ?Preparing for Child Custody Cases? in the early 90?s. I know that there have circulated such a copy on the Internet some years ago, but I can't find it.
Some years ago I saw the homepage www.dirtclod.com (now closed) and I think something like what I'm looking for was there, but I'm not 100% sure.
If you have a copy of a WT-letter that mention ?Preparing for Child Custody Cases?, please mail it to me: [email protected]
Thanks

hi folks .
a guy named cyril lykkebo malka, who made a lot of trouble with the danish support group for ex-jws, is making trouble for every ex-jw website who carries material printed by the danish christian newspaper "kristelig dagblad".. malka, it seems, seeks up these sites, and the journalist sends threats to the webowners about removing the material.. on malka's own website, http://www.malka.dk you will find that this joker steals material as anybody else, and he's been stealing lots of material from the watchtower observer, like documents from the hlc, pay attention, and other material.. he never tells anyone where he got the material, but he does write some interesting stuff:.
he publishes material printed in african newspapers (translated), and tells his readers kristelig dagblad has printed this story "slightly changed"!.
Cyril,
First of all it was Peter who claimed that:
"While fighting the case with his ex-wife, Malka had posted all the documentation of their divorce case on the net and the ex-wife took legal actions against him for this."
What I then wrote was that this claimed legal action could be the reason why the site www.f-a-r.dk had been down for some time. That's all.

Hi Peter,
Well maybe the legal action is the reason why the site www.f-a-r.dk was down for some time, but Cyril Malka is back on the road again. It seems that he still has a need for cleaning his dirty landry in public as he have done a new homepage on http://www.f-a-r.org/home/cyril/index.html with the whole case and all its documents.
Cheers

* some were arrested many times.
1950: 1,000 witnesses executed 1,000 died in prison and concentration camps:.
another 1,000 of jehovahs witnesses died in prisons and concentration camps.
Hi Norm,
The Yearbook of 1974 states that there was a TOTAL of 2,000 Witnesses in the camps! And that the number of deaths was "a total of 635"! Yet we see that the Watchtower throw around fantasy figures like 10,000 Witnesses in the camps, and 4,000 dead! Why?
As it's stated before 635 doesn't sound as much.
Well the reason why the Watchtower still "throw around fantasy figures like 10,000 Witnesses in the camps, and 4,000 dead" I think have two reasons.
First, they 'need' the big figurs to confirm their image as the persecuted people of the true God, one of many proofs that they are and have the truth.
Secondly, "figures like 10,000 Witnesses in the camps, and 4,000 dead" as found in many non-JW books and articles talking about the JW's during the World War II has its origen indirectly from WT.
When Christine Elizabeth King in 1982 released the book "The Nazi state and the new religions" she used the figurs 10,000/4,000. These figurs were given to her by the WT during her research in the subject. The WT knew this wasn't true, but it seems that they needed something more than just 635 dead. By helping King they now had a proof from a researcher that many tousands died in the Nazi camps.
When writers to articles from WT is looking for figurs of dead in the camps all they have to do is give a reference to King or others. It conform their selfimage and if the figurs is wrong it's King's error, not the WTs.

watchtower bible & tract society of new york.
25 columbia heights, brooklyn, 11201.
revenue: $951 million.
Due to the posts here I wonder: What happened to the Tower Tract Fund? Is it closed down or is it still a part of the WTBTS of NY/Pennsylvania?
Also in the book Why Not ‘Russellism’? by Frank Ballard he mention U.S. Investment Co., Ltd as an object for Russells investments in land, timber and houses. Any idea what happened to these investments?
