  jw's have been taught that toasting is of pagan origin.

  by accident i came across the origins of the custom.

  in ancient greece the host would raise his glass after taking the first sip of wine, indicating that the wine is safe to drink, hence the common dedication "to your health" or something like that.

  bethel is the witness equivalent to mecca.

  i never had a strong urge to go, unlike others in the borg.

  its funny to hear people marvel at the speed of the printing presses there.
