If you don't believe in God, and by extension believe religion to be a powerless shell of a sham, surely that would be the end of the matter. Excuse us theists for pointing out the silly superstitious nature of atheists being de-baptised.
It's a bit like an adult sending a letter to Santa telling him he doesn't believe in him anymore.
If you're worried about a church having you on the membership list, just write a letter asking to be removed.

in one of my early posts, i said that there wasn't any molestation cases that i knew of in the congregations in my area.
well all that has changed.
in the last few months i have learned that a man whom i have known since i was a little kid, and who hung around my older brothers and sisters has been molesting childred for years.
No wonder he kept doing it.
Sadly, they've created a ruling and a policy that allows them to keep doing it.

the watchtower organization is without doubt doing everything they can to keep their business afloat.
they are at a critical point in their ever so blemished present condition.
there is simply too much genuine criticism from not only those on the outside but, also from those on the inside.

many here have abandoned the bible as "the word of god" and there are numerous reasons for said abandonment.
however what i am interested in finding out is if the bible is the word of god, then what would you expect to find?.

Following on from the JW Scottish Assembly posts - I was thinking of writing to St. Johnstone Football Club (who rent out their stadium to the JWs for the convention) if they realise exactly who they are renting to.
In particular do they want to be associated with such an organisation that (insert policies etc here) Any feedback?

Possible, you don't own the rights to distribute the Watchtower magazine, so it's probably not a fantastic idea to throw your weight around in this regard!
