i decided after much study and soul searching that i dont believe in god.
ive noticed recently (not on the forum but others) some people seem to think that if i dont believe in a god that im obviously morally bankrupt.
i dont feel this way as i give a portion of my income to charity and i have never set out to harm anyone else.
What does being good or living a good life have to do with God? Who told you that belief in God equates to being good?
Also, where does the Moral Law fit in? The entire notion of "being good" points to a standard that appears to be 'in' people. Where did that come from? And how does altruism fit in?

I've nothing to discuss on this topic; the simple question is are we on a level playing field? The reductionist's content on this thread has answered my question to my satisfaction.
