bttt.I think the Muslim couple should be shot on principle, just because they are assholes who demand respect for their asshole religion, but want to kill everyone else who doesn't belong to it.

Do You Need to Learn Hebrew and Greek? (WT 11/01/09)
by Midget-Sasquatch ini'm sure quite a few of you on the board remember the km that discouraged learning the biblical languages.
well, here are scans of this newer article from the nov public wt.
very boring read with little direct prohibitions (understandable since its for outsiders), but still a bit of an eye roller with their reasons for not bothering to learn them.

So, I'm guessing this article excuses the New World Translation committee from knowing any Hebrew or Greek. Job done.

Now you can post your comments on the Watchtower.org website!
by Elsewhere inthe wts was smart enough to not setup a forum on their site.
they knew too much of the truth would come out!.
google has released a simple solution to this little problem: google sidewiki.

Who really is the faithful and discreet slave? (A perspective)
by StoneWall inwho really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics,.
to give them their food at the proper time?
happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so.. truly i say to you, he will appoint him over all his belongings" -matt.

@ stonewall - you're really stretching for this one. When is Christ going to submit himself to the Father? Is it before or after the Master arrives to inspect his slaves?
I'm sorry, but right now Christ is Lord of Lord, King of Kings, Lion of Judah and the one to whom all creation on heaven and earth is give honour, worship and praise.
He most certainly is not the slave.

Jesus said do not go from house to house; so why is that their main way of preaching?

I've nothing to discuss on this topic; the simple question is are we on a level playing field? The reductionist's content on this thread has answered my question to my satisfaction.
Have a great Saturday.

passwordprotected, the way I see it indivduals who feel offended have the right to bring charges when they feel insulted in a public place. It is for the courts to decide. Moreover if you are running an hotel part of one's education would include the maintenance of ethical standards in a guest hotelier relationship. Also the newspaper reports that the hoteliers were interrrogated very thoroughly by the police before charges were brought.
None of this answers my questions, I'm afraid.
