I think I just broke the tele-market man
by whitman inwell, today is one of those procrastinatey days, i'm at home alone with the cat who is dazzling me with her new tricks.
so i got pretty excited when the tele-marketer man called to discuss a new and fantastic mobile phone deal.
i managed to keep him on the phone for 32 minutes as i explained to him that i could only use a blue telephone due to a specific type of colour blindness that i have....which i do not have.... turns out they just don't make blue phones.

Shamus - that must be one of the funniest phone pranks I've heard....hillarious.... mexican midget....hahaha ha oh dear... that's genius. I'm inspired to rig some type of recording device to the phone now....this could be my new thing... I've been looking for a new thing... no really, that's awesome...this day just keeps getting better and better...
Parakeet - how sweet are you..helping the youngsters out without hurting their feelings... I imagine one day when they are all grown up and responsible members of society they will probably do the same thing when a youngster comes a-knocking on their door selling the latest gadgetry for a zero-gravity environment or some such thing high tech uber-modern thing from the future.

I'm laughing...I'm crying...I'm doomed. So God is going to cause 'crazed madness' ...I don't know about you but crazed madness sounds kinda fun....I think I want the crazed madness too....but does that mean I have to hunt myself down? That's going to be tricky. I'll start stock piling immediately while I figure out which side I'm going to take. Thankfully I made a paper fortune teller last week so I'll use that to determine what to do.
Is there accompanying video available? I'd love to see his performance when he is doing the fake crying....awesome!!!

Oh no.... they are going to find college professors (read 'university lecturers' in Australian lingo) - I'm in trouble then...I was not advised that this was going to happen. Darn it, I'm always the last to know. I'll start baracading myself in after I've collected a stock pile of supplies and weaponry. Someone please tell me when it's safe to come out.

He even suggested that I get a black one and paint it blue. I told him I couldn't paint it because I couldn't actually see it if it's black, so I wouldn't know where to put the paint brush. He suggested I get a friend to paint the black phone blue...and so it went for 32 minutes.

The JW online dating sites are hysterical!! If you haven't checked them out, I highly recommend it. 'Brother seeks sister for marriage' - 'I am scripturally divorced and free to marry', 'i know you will overlook any physical issues of my weight since all will be fixed in the new system' etc etc ...and you can run searches to see how cute the contestants are. Crack open a bottle of wine, pull out the popcorn and start searching.

I agree with Sacolton - check out the Cocteau Twins - 'Garlands' is a brilliant album, also for angelic I'd also suggest Sigur Ros and Amiina. Have tickets to see Sigur Ros next month and I'm so so so excited!!!
