  I cannot prove that God exists. Everyone has to have the God experience for herself. I can only tell you what has helped me to cope with the problem of evil in the world.

  I believe that life is a mystery. It is transrational and cannot be constrained by the human mind. God has left us to make sense of the condition we are in but he has not left us alone in our groping.

  Romans 8:20, 21 says that the creation was allowed to undergo a condition of futility. It does not say that God brought futile existence upon humanity. It instead says that God allowed humanity to suffer a futile existence. I believe this "subjection to futility" accounts for the presence of natural disasters in the world as well as Satan the devil's influence on nature. But God allows these things on the basis of hope in Jesus Christ.

  I have had the experience of perceiving God in a semi-sensuous way. I know that my Redeemer liveth and you cannot take that away from me. But I understand how you feel in view of evil. God will correct things one day.

  Just you wait and see.

  Pray to him and read his Bible. Maybe you too will be in Christ.

  as ive made it known on this board, my current status with the watchtower bible and tract society is that of inactive.

  this is a loophole i have utilized, to keep an open channel of communication with family members in the organization.. i want to clarify with everyone: i do not hold any doctrinal ideas, theology, ideology, opinions expressed in any form by the wtbts.

  therefore, to simply put, i do not believe in the wtbts in any way, shape, or form.

  My savior told me this:

  So some dissidents here may have acquired great debating skills. But does not the apostle Paul ask where is the sophist or the philosopher of this age? Has not God brought worldly sophia to nothing, dear?

  So I say, philosophy and argumentation are all a bunch of refuse, dear. Let us rise above both of these types of worldly wisdom.

But, I have the same freedom to point out your blatant hypocrisy and spin doctoring of events surrounding this issue, and will continue to do so.:

  :Your attacks of the Pandelas thinly disguised as innocent questions have not gone unnoticed. Nor has your attacks of Bill Bowen and your not so innocent statements against him. You should be appalled that the Watchtower hides these people away and support those who advocate change from within in this area. No one is asking for a witch hunt, just properly report these incidents and let trained professionals deal with the matter, not some suit wearing window washer calling himself a spiritual leader.:

  When has the WT ever hidden any pedophiles away? You got some news? How can I support dissidents, D? You tell me. Somehow you expect Witnesses to abide by their principles in some form or fashion and also support those who not only advocate change in the area we are talking about but also spew out filth and lies and distortions about christ's potential body.   I will agree that this principle can be abused. But my thoughts are based on what the Hebrew prophets and the Bible tells me. You may want me to go against my Christian conscience and God. I cannot do that since Christ has touched my heart and soul. Trust is one of the primary forces in the universe, dear. Trust in Christ is also pragmatic.

  :But now we live in democracies and religion's chokehold on humans is not as powerful. If the WT insists on it's totalitarian rule, it will go the way of the dinosaur. Already, the growth in industrialized nations has stopped. The only place they can convince people to follow them is developing nations who may be still used to people ordering them around. But that will change too.:

  If God is backing JWs, then democracies or any other government cannot stop them or hold them down. Time will tell.
