I quit drinking Aspartame. My acid reflux immediately improved. I had no idea Aspartame was contributing to the problem. I know dozens of people that love diet drinks, and the chemicals don't seem to affect them. However, according to a vocal group of doctors and patients, Aspartame can cause some people serious problems.

Sweet Poison? My experience quitting Nutrasweet
by cabasilas inmy doctor has been ragging on me to lose weight for quite awhile.
the last visit i was in he also railed against nutrasweet.
he gave me one of those mass mailing testimonies about nutrasweet which called it "sweet poison.

the smartest man i ever knew was a professor of mine, alexander kaufman... graduate of the jfk school at harvard, he taught john rawls philosophy and economics at uga.... .
i used to laugh my ass off when he had visiting economic professors from places like princeton, yale, harvard...all the top schools; he'd hold an open debate forum where the greatest conservative minds in the world would debate their economic theories against his... i am still a friend of his and have enjoyed many a beer with his guests, who usually were his friends, the debating of these men was really something to behold.

I feel awful for them. I have nothing but sympathy for most of them. As Ray Franz explained, they are victims of victims. Being a JW is not easy. Many of these people have made huge sacrifices.
I'm confident that a majority of JWs would leave immediately, if they only knew the real truth.
Their minds are being controlled and it is virtually impossible for them to even imagine that Watchtower is not God's organization.

I can't believe we on the left have been so quiet about the way things have been in this country.
Where are all of these quiet Democrats you're referring to? I've been listening to Keith Olbermann and his ilk whine and moan for years and years. "Bush did that, Bush did this, Cheney is the Devil", on and on, ad nasueum. If McCain wins, I think Keith's head will literally explode on TV.
