earlier this week, john mccain proposed temporarily slashing the capital gains tax rate from 15 percent to 7.5 percent for 2009 and 2010. barack obama supports raising the capital gains rate to 20 percent for individuals earning more than $200,000 a year and couples earning more than $250,000.. this is a bigger issue than many people realize.
as ucla economist lee ohanian points out, the u.s. capital stock is extremely sensitive to changes in capital income taxation.

I couldn't be happier if Obama improves the healthcare system, whereby a person can insurance that is unattached to a certain job. More affordable college sounds good, too.

I've seen 'Righteous Kill'. It is indeed lousy. Not because of their acting, but because of a lame script. I actually enjoyed the first hour or so, but the last 30 minutes was completely stupid.

Scientology and JWism
by LovesDubs ini have decided that neither of the above was ever meant to be a religion.
im thinking that in the case of scientology it started out being a way of bettering yourself as a person and turned into a cult following and then a religion (despite tom cruise's protestations to the contrary) and that the bible students cum jehovahs witnesses was meant to become the new world order enveloping all religions including jews and was meant to embrace and include all people no matter what beliefs they had...under rutherford.
(based on things like their allegiance with hitler and the book 30 years a watchtower slave).
