  Have you chosen a brother to give the marriage talk yet? Will you meet with him privately beforehand so he can tell you what forms of sex are ok?

  I was at a wedding years ago. After the vows, the newlyweds (both in their early 20s) kissed and the elder announced, "Brothers and sisters, you've just witnessed the first time these two have ever kissed." I thought it was such a beautiful thing! Just think of it; these two are going to spend the rest of their lives together, kissing, having sex, and even having babies--unless they follow the Society's admonition to wait for the new order before having kids. Let me tell you, from that kiss, I'm sure they'll have absolutely NO problems with sexual compatibility. Speaking of which, if you two need a chaperone before the marriage, don't hesitate to let me know.

  Also, please let us know as soon as possible when the big day will be. You know how the Society warns against long engagements. We wouldn't want your passions to become inflamed, now would we?

  LET'S MAKE A LITTLE WAGER

  perhaps you recall the instance in the bible where samson made a wager with the philistines that they couldnt guess his riddle.

  as it turned out they wheedled the answer out of him by his fiancee, but the point is that they had a wager.

  since the underlying assumption of the apostasy is that we are not living in the last days of this system of things, and that this world is not facing anything remotely like the biblical apocalypse, at least not any time soon, in the spirit of such antagonism, i would like to propose a similar wager.

  I haven't followed this thread beyond the first ten pages or so, so if someone else has asked this already, feel free to ignore it (though my guess would be that you ignored it then, also)

  You said the present financial system would be in a crash-down mode, or war (you never clarified what constitutes a "crash" or just what a financial war would be) by the end of October. But when pressed about the US markets, you say that it's only a part of the world economy. On the other hand, you point to the US' current political "war on terrorism" as a fulfillment of your apostate prophecy.

  That leads to my question: Is your "prophecy" one of worldwide economic collapse and war, or only in the US? If global, then we need to see a worldwide collapse, and the relatively minor "war" of the US would be meaningless. If you're only going to look at the US, then you need to stop dodging questions about the US economy.

  i want to barf.

  i was wondering when the hell samuel herd was going to shut up.. blab blab blab.... aren't we wonderful, oh we are so wonderful.. about the only thing that was said that i could see as being something which the gb would see as touchy enough to warant the multiple announcements for " no tape recorders, no video recorders and no computer note taking" would be the statement by herd that there's "going to be a lot off killing, billions will die ....in swift fashion".

  and the other gb (fill in the name) who talked about being in the new world "in two hundred years".... wow.. that's leaving enough prophetic lee-way for the gb heirs to the thrones.. much emphasis was placed on the "...two roads to the new system ...the high road and the low road".

  Can someone please tell us what was the PURPOSE of the meeting? What was the THEME, or the SUBJECT of some of the talks? Three hours and all we get is that there will be more of these, and Herd says "200 years"?

  I gather that it was a let-down in terms of earth-shattering news, but you guys who are posting about it would SUCK SUCK SUCK as reporters! Let's hear some who, what, when, where, how, and why!

  after reviewing the society's vapid interest in helping battered women and seeing the many sad stories posted as a result of the article, i have a new addition to the silentlambs website.. a new webpage for battered lambs.. this will be accessed off the victims page with a clickable link.

  there you will be able to read the stories of those who have suffered physical abuse at the hands of wt policy.

  all stories will be posted anonymously of course and there will also be a second poems and thoughts page dedicated to victims of physical abuse.

  i have heard of reports of certain individuals raising issues about the upcoming interview on the meria heller show.

  i thought i would offer a few comments to explain the basis for doing so.. i was contacted by meria heller about a month ago and had a nice conversation with her over the telephone.

  she mentioned she has a internet broadcast to around 20,000 listeners around the world.
