I was so upset physically for weeks when I found out the real truth. I cried, couldn't eat and was in shock. There was always a constant fear hanging over me that I should be doing more, studying more, etc, etc. That weight was completely lifted off my back once I discovered the real facts about the WTBS. Thanks so much to this website and others like it for helping me in my journey.

by Honesty indid you still want it to be the truth?.
i was sick for 3 or 4 days after i found out it isn't the truth.. .

Chuck a sickie! Do you call in sick at work when your fine need a break?
by Witness 007 inin australia it's called "chucking a sickie" and since starting a new job 3 years ago i have used up almost all my sick days....just for some time off.
i have never really been sick.
i only have 2 days sick leave left and i know that is foolish but i enjoyed myself fishing!

Once in a while I will call in sick and enjoy the day. I have good benefits at my job and we get 88 sick hours yearly. I wont' do it unless I know that I don't have a lot to do at work. Most of the time, I only take days off when they are planned.

nasty email to my coworker ala 'watchtower comments'

i've allowed this guy at work to make my life miserable for the past two years.... he is totally the opposite of a team player; and he's always sending emails to our boss trying to show off.
well, today i replied to one of his latest emails and included everyone in the reply but i replied to him ala 'watchtower comments' ... lol.

I understand how you feel completely. Sometimes, you just can't take any more from people like that. Every job has one. Mine has a woman who has been with the company for 25+ years and who is a big bully. I tried to be nice to her, to ignore her, to understand her but she is the type of person who you have to stand up to or it gets worse. I'm from Flint, Michigan ( you all know what kind of reputation flint has) and was not about to let her continue to be so hateful to me!! The Flinttown part of me came out! Well, not all of it but the strong, determined side. I had to struggle to keep the part of it that wanted to beat her A** under control and I did.
It had gotten so bad with me and her that management sent us to employee counseling together. The counselor agreed with me and let mgmt have it for allowing this this woman to treat everyone so terrible. She didn't change but she certainly leaves me alone and most of her butt- kissing power with managment has been diminished. Good luck with your meeting.

don't miss it at all and never planning on even having a sip again.

cognac: Good for you taking care of yourself during your pregnancy. As the daughter of someone who abused alcohol, please stay sober for your child's sake. There are many programs out there-private and public that can assist you with this. Best wishes on this .

by caliber ini've lived through some ... a death where my brother caught an elderly lady as she dropped dead while singing !.
a girl in early twenties marries a man (elder) 27 years older ..still married 30 years later !.
an elder is stabbed with a knife.. but it hits his belt buckle.. police called.

Not sure yet. This will be my first year celebrating since I was about 8 years old. I just made the decision to do it in Mid-october so there hasn't been any time to prepare. I want this year to be the one that makes up for all of the lost years for my kids. I've bought the wrapping paper and made the lists of presents I want to buy. Very exciting!! Next year, I will be way more prepared.

One year the drama was about Jezebel. The pioneer sister (about 40 y) who played Jezebel had long black hair and looked like the WTBS depicts her. About one month after the assembly, she was DF'd for sleeping with her teenage daughter's (who was also a pioneer) boyfriend. Her husband divorced her and she married her young lover. Strangely enough though, her daughter was upset with the dad not the mom.

How do I get my file from the Congregation I used to attend?
by QuestioningEverything inyears ago, i was df'd-then reinstated.
is it possible to get my file and all of the personal information obtained it in from the congregation.
i recently was informed that those are kept on the kh premises and others may occassionally have access to them.

Yes, I'm curious what they say. I remember them wanting all the gritty details of my sinning. It was terribly embarassing. I realiz now they're mostly just perves and closet freaks. :).
