I'm glad you're not getting baptised, which is what I thought. But, please--- be honest with your GF. The comment "She'll find out." doesn't seem very fair to her. As far as your relationship with a new man-do what makes you happy.
Take care.
don't tell my girlfriend.
secretly, i've had feelings for a person she doesn't know about.
we've been seeing each other for the past 3 months, and so far, he's been the best thing that's ever happened to me.

i've been mulling over "getting ink done".
anybody here have any thoughts.
do you regret it?
Loved it when I first got it. I was a very petite(size 2) 23 year old. I had a vine with flowers tatooed around my navel. It was cute.
Now, I'm a 42 year old mom, wife, employee, aunt, etc... I am not heavy but have certainly gained some weight over the years(size 10) but looking back in hindsight, I wouldn't have gotten it.
i detest this type of posting.
it's only my opinion of course and so long as forum rules aren't breached we're all free to express ourselves as we see fit.
doesn't mean i have to like it though.. honestly, can't you make your point without this kind of infantile name calling?
When I was lurking, those posts scared me to death-they seemed so disrespectful! But, I continued to read this site and others like it. The benefits of reading outweighed the negative feeling I initially had. Now, I just skip over posts like that cause the repeated use of those terms is silly to me.
But---if that's how a poster has to write in order to heal himself, then good for them! I don't have to read any post I don't like. I guess we all heal in a different way after exiting the WTBS.
in the patterson commissary.. .
can one pick what one wants?
does one have to pay for items?
I think those shelves look like the shelves in the movie "Sleeping with the Enemy." Very neat and all matched up perfectly ===
this guy must be mad.

The article was like reading one of their publications.
i think it would be fun to do this, and we have a few months to get it organized.. but how to get the gifts to her without her having to violate her privacy by giving out her address?.
maybe one or two trusted people here can receive the stuff and box it up and send it to her.. it's just an idea.
i'm going to knit or crochet a baby blanket.
This is a wonderful idea!! How thoughtful of you to suggest this. :) Keep us posted on what the final plans are. I love baby showers'.

Thanks ExDub for the Valentine wishes! Sounds like your lady is going to have a good day! It's been a very happy day here at the office-all the ladies are in a great mood. They put on a pot-luck lunch with lots of good food.
I got my hubby some cologne and a nice travel mug for his coffee. And when I get home, I'm going to grill steak and make baked potato's, green beans and maybe some peach cobbler for him and my 3 son's.
It's wonderful to celebrate holidays, even Hallmark ones! lol
felt so sorry for them,i questioned the 1914 date and they schpeeled out the crap theyre told,i asked what they personally thaught about it,that stumped them as they dont have the remit to think for thewmselves.. i then offered them the 'crisis of concience ' book and they damn near ran out the garden!
poor people wish i could help them..
Well, I guess you aren't going to be counted as a return visit for them!! But, major cudo's for trying to 'place' a Crisis of Conscience book with them.
i'm from south los angeles and been to black congregations all my life, but i moved 70-75 miles north from where i grew up.
i just want to know the difference ..
The congregation I went to was predominately black. We were one of two white families and there was a Mexican family also. I LOVED that congregation. I had great friends there. Most were friendly, down to earth and kind. We went to the hall with the same people for over 15 years.
When the society decided to change the boundaries of the city, we were moved to a new hall. It was mostly white with a few blacks and again, one mexican family. I HATED that hall. The people were cliqueish and cold. I didn't last too long there. I really did give it a try but it was not the same.
