new here, my story
by doingwell ini'm not sure why i felt a need to find this site and write my story about my experiences with the jw religion.
it's been pretty far in my past, but it still had an impact, and maybe i'm just being a bit reflective, having past 40 years of age and expecting my 2nd child next year.
maybe also being reflective having just attended a catholic babtism for my wife's cousin's daughter and seeing organized religion in action again.. my mom became a jw long before i was born - she's in her 80's now.

I am not streesed out, my Mom and Uncle also own part of the family business, and they would both protect my job. It just sucks to hear this from grandma.
The funny thing about the smoking, is that I did quit for a few months and that is when she found out that I did smoke.

I told her about the Candace Conti lawsuit, that is what brought about this problem, and spured the email.
She said that jehovah will take care of this lawsuit, and It will go away.
I work for her in our family business "she owns the company", it is what pays our bills.

Maybe, you should do some research & find out what happens to the apostates. How are you going to feel when we cut you out from our will & your share is going to go to the Society where 99.99999999% is going for worthwhile causes, such as Bibles, & Bible-based publications, disaster relief, etc.? This is what we're going to do until such time you come to your senses. This is much more worthwhile than supporting gambling & cigarettes, etc. Grandpa supports me in this decision.
