Yes they want work done for free, but when it is come to these same people doing things for others then they want to be paid top wage. I could never make sense of the lack of love.

Did You Feel The Love As A Jehovah's Witness?
by minimus inother than feeling "love bombed" when you first started associating with the "brotherhood", did you experience the "love" in your years within the organization?.
if you felt truly loved, was it in reality, a "conditional love"?.

I was raised in one hall and was in it for 24 years, no love, married an elder and was in another hall for 4 years really no love, in another hall for 2 years no love back to the first hall I was raised in and still no love, move to current hall been here for 6 years and yep you guessed it even less love then all the other halls put together. Hubby who was an elder had an heart attack and the let me drive him to the hospital alone talk about love. These are the most hateful people I know of.

How Did It Feel To Post Here For The First Time?
by Yizuman inwhen you first came to this site (and possibily lurked a while) and then you made your very first post on this site.
how did it feel?
scared?

Scared out of my mind. For days I was sure that I could get found out.
Going to the meetings I felt like I had this huge sign on me telling everyone
that I was posting here. I thought for sure the elders could tell. But then nothing
happened and I was so glad to know the truth about the truth. It is kind of neat now
because I know things before everyone else and when they say to me did
you here the rummer about the pioneer hours changing, I am like what the pioneer hours are going to
change really are you sure. Who told you. They just look at me and say well some friend somewhere and then
I wonder are you looking here also?

Inviting Sex Offenders Home: When Mom's Relationship Puts Children at Risk
by Yizuman inhttp://www.abcnews.go.com/us/story?id=7907111&page=1.
thank god she's alright, but feel terrible about one found dead and buried in a riverside area.. a boy was found ok, but no details if he was molested or night, strong possibilty he was.. one thing that really pisses me off is enablers, those that ignore their children that is being molested so she can keep her "sugar daddy".

I know of two baptized former child molesters and they both had a string of sisters who through themselves at these men. Unbelievable
A child molester in the JW world seems to be looked up to. The ones I know hold children, study with them all with the elders full blessing and God for bid you object to it. You will be disfellowshipped in a heart beat.
It is truly amazing and sick to watch.
By the way all the sisters who loved and wanted to marry the child molesters all had children and the elders thought that was the best thing possible because now these fatherless children will finally have a father to love them. Make you want to puke

Have you ever heard of brothers refusing to give public talks in other congregation(s)?
by asilentone inmaybe some of them do not like particular people in other congregations, so they refuse to give the talk there.
do you know of any experiences like that?.

Flipper that was a great response. I loved everything you just wrote. It all totally makes so much sense especially about how the WT keeps telling us this is not the real life. so we just waste what we have now for some carrot they dangle in front of us that might not even come true.
You are so right we need to enjoy TODAY right now and waste our lives, like we did in the WT.
Thanks for the great response. vs77

Surprise, My MIL Got Baptized This Weekend
by OnTheWayOut inin recent months, my sister-in-law (sister's sister) got reinstated after about 14+ years out.
i speculated that this may have been because my mother-in-law may want to get baptized.
mil has gone to meetings faithfully for more than 20 years, but never did a lick of field circus and never moved toward baptism because her work related to babylon the great.

I am sorry to hear all of this. Yeks It is so hard to deal with. The more clear it get to me that this is not the truth the more I get upset with my husband, and his family is not around. Hang in there.

Renaii GO BACK
by hotchocolate inokay, just a thread to say that renaii should totally go back!
sorry chick, but personally i think you're just an attention seeker, and you'll get more if you go to meetings.
well at least for six months.

I totally agree. She would get so much praise for all of her insightful comments, so much attention. Why hang here. When she tries to high-jack just pretend she is not there and that would help send her on her way.
