  RIP Michael Jackson

  it's one hour into june 25th here in new zealand .

  and two years since the death of michael jackson.. we all know of his family life and the connection the family had to the jehovah's witness religion, his abusive father, and the less than ideal childhood he experienced.

  his struggles with his identity and his past manifested itself in a life of extreme highs and lows.

  No problem -- I think Size just wanted to remember MJ and its too bad that some keep bringing up what has been -as far as I am concerned-- proven to be false...

  and you are right - Whoopi , Liz Taylor, McCaulay Culkin, Paris Hiltons mom grew up with him, loved him -they even teased each other who would name their child Paris first...would not stand up for anyone who would be involved in such a terrible crime...

  Many are saying all the Jacksons were/are jw's - only Latoya and Rebbie and Michael and Katherine were/are..

  Jermaine is Muslim / Hindu or something like that I believe, I dont know about the rest

  Its too bad the conversation went off in another direction -

  I for one, liked MJ and ON THE INTERNET is an FBI report - they had MJ under watch for 15 years - due to spurious allegations.

  and could NOT find anything improper. His insurance company wanted to settle the first allegation, not HIM - he wanted to go to court to clear his

  name..thats why he went the second time.. also - some of his ex employees said they had information on him - he sued them and got $60,000.00 from each of them as a settlement..

  For those who wish, start checking records.. its out there..

  As far as his death, an unfortunate accident, but who could see MJ getting older??

  I guess the doctor who will be on trial soon will enlighten us according to his version but that guy was there for some time before anyone else according to time frames.. time will tell

  Rutherford and the new DVD

  can anyone tell me why rutherford is not shown giving a talk or speaking in public?

  i noticed that russell was on film in the first dvd -out of darkness but rutherford was shown in a picture only - never speaking or doing a public presentation, same goes for the second one -they have an actor portraying him... was there a reason?

  was his persona that bad?

  Is the spring/summer weather in your area 'odd' this year?

  much of our spring was very cold, intermingled with the occasionally 'extreme' heat.

  so far summer [which started this week] is cooler than any i can recall, but extremely wet and high humidity.

  the entire house feels like a wet blanket.. the doom-sayer types are constantly remarking how this must mark 'something' if not the end.

  terrible weather here in Canada.. massive flooding out west.. rain, rain, rain in the east with only 9 sunny days in May -- crops are being washed out, fires in Alberta - heat waves in Ontario -hotter than ever.. New Brunswick and Quebec - massive flooding like mississippi river - no crops surviving.. no relief for water to subside... temp in eastern part of Canada -- 60's -- still having to heat the house...

  Missouri and Mississippi rivers flooding and they say all the crops are gone -- and there is no hope that the waters will reside til the fall

  Global warming or not - something is out of whack

  Such a intimate moving recount of your life in/out of the org. I can only wish you and your wife much happiness, you both have moved on. and credit to you wife too for not turning her back on you through all the trying times. And yes I will take that beer............

  By the way I am still going to meetings, etc... not out in FS though - my mind won't allow me too, I see so much hypocrasy and keep up appearances..

  If you take a look at this board, you will see a large influx of ex's here: eders, ministerial servants, aux pioneers, pioneers,bethelites... you you are not alone..

  In time you probably will get to know a lot of them..

  my wife left with my little child.

  my fault (i dislike the word "fault", but don't have a better one right now).. it feels strange, relieved and free, at the same time it was all very strange.

  What is your next move regarding your daughter? Did you own your home - share a mortgage, are you legally separated or will be??

  Has your wife contacted you yet? Priority would be to visit a lawyer and find out what your plan of action would be- after you speak with your wife that is, to find out what is going on in her head - as many will counsel her on how she is to deal with you trying to convince you to return - failing that, it will be all out war, with your wife in the middle and her trying to please the relatives... especially since you have most of your family in. This freedom has just begun. for you .. there will be twists in the road to make you feel guilty.. hateful to even think that way, but life is what it is..

  Now that you have had a few days to think, perhaps this has already occured to you. At first, the elation of freedom is a great feeling, then reality sets in with a wife and child and home to deal with

  reading the posts about the 2011-7-15 watchtower about mentally retarded apostates i foresee the following scenario:.

  1. congregational elders trying to get grip on non regular publishers and inactive witnesses.. 2. the good ones read in the watchtower that apostates are to find in the local congregation.

  3. inactives like me (i hate this name, but i use their language), and liberal witness like me, will be hunted, .

  Yes it was presented in the saturday afternoon in the symposium- Enemies of the Kingdom - apostates.. indicating they all rose out of the congregation and elders were cast in the spotlight - as to why did they want to serve, pride causing division, etc... congregation was asked to mark those who they thought were becoming apostate as they were dividing the congregation and causing others to follow them.. so the WT will be covering these aspects in the meeting I would suppose, I havent read it

  one is a reg pioneer.... all are actually pretty key to my biz....three have been there over 20 years (ya...i am a great boss!!!).

  how much pressure are they going to get to quit working for me???.

  Oompa - good your back on board -- hope you are feeling ok now?

  Well, I do know of a JW couple who do work for a df's boss - the kicker is that he has a supervisor who deals with them and he does not deal with them directly. all information is passed to the supervisor, manager, whatever, and he/she directs them as to what has to be done for the company

  This could buy you much needed time OR they will stay as they do not have to deal with your directly.. rather than the folks leaving, they may settle for this and their conscience will not be "seared"

  Just a thought -
