My RC hearing brought forward. Will be in two weeks

through this forum of wonderful freaks, i have met someone who is coming with me to my hearing.

initially i was slated for next year, but will be attending in two weeks time.

all is in place from travel vouchers, support, where to go ............very efficient and well done.

If a year is really 365 1/4 days why 360 days to calculate 1914

in establishing the length of the seven times of the gentiles, a time or year of 360 days is used, to give 2,520 days, which become 2,520 years when ezekiel 4:6 is applied.

That was a starting point for Ray Franz when he was doing the research for the Blue Aids book --precursor to the Insight Books -- he could not agree that the dates were correct and went to the GB about it... then started his downward trend towards disfellowshipping as he was not towing the line= it was only a matter of time after that when they found a way to get rid of him....

they fought for tax exemption as a religious organization, started by hubbard, who at level 8- the highest on the ladder - tells his thetans they are out of a spaced out world -- it is terrifying -- and they are supposed to be able to read minds, levitate things, others in the org are scared of them.... but the org are buying properties all over the world as a benefit for their thetahs" to show their good works.to the irs - building a massive real estate empire with publishing and volunteer labour...... watch it if you can.... .

Haggis was the one they opened with and interviews several times -- he is very enlightening and funny -- there were also the ones who gave the dectector tests to clear a person.. so they were high ranking as well and verified how evil Miscavidge is.

Yes I just read about Serena and I can't think she is a JW.. I have watched her career, along with Venus, and for them to play in the Olympics, etc. and have the US flag drapped over their shoulders and the their dad doing the same... they must be quasi JW's - I first saw Venus and her first win when she gave the victory to Jehovah.

Money means everything - maybe they are big donors to the society

The Pain of Coming to a Decision

it's been at least a couple years since i've posted anything on here, and much longer than that since when i was active.

ten years ago i first came here all in turmoil over my disillusionment of my beliefs.

i've been through lots of ups and downs since then.

My son is in the same situation and we had a good talk again yesterday. He feels so much like a wounded warrior with PTSD. He can't sleep, his emotional imbalances are evident as it has affected his physical functions. Can't work, his mind is always racing, feels guilty although he is at the point he knows the pain of loss spiritually. He wants to believe yet he wants nothing to do with the society. He is a lost soul in my estimation and there is nothing much I can do but to listen and agree because I too have had soul searching .. and I can't fault him at all.

In essence, we are trapped - I was not brought up in the truth but he was - I can see things differently and don't feel the depression he does, I do feel the hypocrisy and lies and deception but I feel I can handle that - he has lost faith and that can be very tramautic so I tread carefully.

You on the other hand, you have a family to deal with and must tread carefully there too, and it will be a weight on your shoulders - be willing to get help from competent medical staff if you need it. You spiritual and mental health will be key to overcoming this - it will not leave you for a long time.. We are all ingrained and it may take years to get over. Love the kids and wife - take them with you everywhere, don't leave them alone - rekindle what you had and make them your first priority as your mind will fall into place as time goes on as you see them respond to your attention.

What did you have for Christmas dinner?

my inlaws are polish, though my husband is a 3rd generation american, but the food traditions have stuck around.. we have christmas eve dinner starting with red beet soup with sour cream, pierogies filled with mashed potatoes or saurkraut, ham, polish sausage sliced and cooked with saurkraut, turkey (that part is american), krischickies (likely spelled wrong) which are crispy pastries dipped in powdered sugar, and apple pie (also american.).

there are goodnatured threats toward bad children who may need to get their dupa busted (butt spanked) and therefore santa will bring figismachen.

i also love golabkis (ground beef and rice wrapped in cabbage leaves), but these were not served this time.

Always had turkey dinner with all the trimmings - even in the truth -- it was a holiday and the turkey was cheaper so why not!!

This week had pot roast - chicken, mashed potatoes, combined carrots and turnips mashed, cranberry sauce, bread and potato dressing - home made and beef gravy....... will be eating it for a few days -- my kid took a lot home too.

So good

Another thought - in the old testament - when a king died and another took his place, they give only the year not the months, throwing the count off even more.

They did go by the lunar year of 360 days and the calendar was only adjusted in roman times, was it not??

Yes, TI - apparently Cruise is the main star in attracting celebrities too... Leah tried to get Jennifer Lopez into the mix - watched her as well and all I could think, how familiar, how sick it made me to think all the years wasted

with JW's - now they are out in the open crying for money and still building - there was a new title on here yesterday how they are selling off 3 halls in Mo.USA --a Cong of 44 and the building is bigger than ours and because of the continual calls for more monies, they cant afford to keep the hall and will have to travel 35 miles to the next hall.... the fan is going full tilt even tho it is being covered with sh..

and another thing, they cut you off from friends and family who are "suppressive" -- and if you leave, they leave their family and friends with the org and many do not come out of it...

Then all the wrongs and issues they have revealed through the "clear" (lie dectector) when they join and always thereafter have to be checked to see they are still loyal, is held against them -- piles of paperwork on every person and they are reported to their leaders if it is thought they may be becoming suppressive themselves ( doubting/ apostasizing, etc).... sent to a restorative centre where they work for minimum food, little sleep, -=- all deprived causing them to feel they are not worthy.... low self esteem!!
