Going to church was a pain in the butt in more ways than one
Hahaha. What a dork. Don't try to be clever when you suck at poetry, cause it just makes you look stupid.

"shocking as it is, even some who have been prominent in jehovah's organization have succumbed to immoral practices, including homosexuality, wife swapping, and child molesting.".
if chitty was gay, greenlees was a pedo.
then who in the borg was doing the wife swapping??.
They used to love talking about "wife swapping" for some reason. I swear someone high in the organization must have some fantasy about that because every time they mention immorality that term comes up.
I don't know any "wife swappers" (no mention of husband swapping in the magazines strangely enough) and I know a LOT of kinky people. It is kind of funny now to read that term. I had forgotten all about it.

ever heard the saying that there arent any atheists in a foxhole - i think that is nonsense atheists are born in foxholes
I think it's belief systemn because of the way I hear it defended sometimes around here. Also in some programs I hear atheists talk bout Nature in almost glowing terms, like it was their God or somethin. I really see no difference between atheists and religious beliefs. I think it's the same shit, different theory.
The big difference here is that speaking of Nature like that is based on evidence seen in the world around us. Many athiests I know are athiests in part due to the fact that there is no evidence of god. They base their beliefs on scientific facts that can be proven, not on a religious book that requires faith. That's not a put down, it's just a totally different path.
Faith and science are diametrically opposed, one is belief in only what we can see and the other is belief in something specifically because we can't see it.

what will occur in 2012 when the mayan calendar ends?
when people say the mayan calendar ends in 2012, they're referring to the end of one 5125-year cycle that began in 3114 b.c.
this cycle ends on december 21, 2012 (although some peg the date as the 22nd), marking the end of the mayan cyclical calendar.
My calander runs out every year - I go out and buy a new one.
LOL!

Or maybe, just maybe, it will be the first day of winter 2012, and I'll be 41.5 years old.
Then again that could be the date the mothership returns. Or the turtle that the earth sits on decides to quit holding us all up.
hard core.
