Here you are again. I thought I did something to this thread. Watson that is a wonderful clip with John singing "Lonely wanta die" and Clapton smiles looking like a beautiful baby. How Long Should One Wait Before Remarriage?

is there a certain amount of time a person "should" wait before they remarry, either because of divorce or due to death?.

I don't think I will remarry. If I find someone, would try living together, maybe but not even that for quite a few years. Men seem to be able to move on faster, but not wiser.

since, i live in the us, i have always heard that they have better hospitals and access to health care in canada.

Thank you all for your comments. I am hoping President Obama will do something to try to reduce the costs for all the extras when you are in hospital. You Canadians really know your stuff about your care. We here in the US are flying by the seat of our pants, mostly. I am looking to get my own health insurance since mine ran out with my ex. I am no longer employed by him so I don't qualify for the insurance. Wonder, if he will pay for his new woman's insurance from the business? He is a generous soul. Always has been. He loves taking care of people.

I have wondered about what would happen when you visit Canada and get injured or sick. Thanks for that input.

Would You Rather Be Married or Single?

I want to change my comment of a few months ago about wanting to still be married to my ex. I wouldn't take him back if he paid me. Which I know will not happen since he another woman living with him now. He has not taken the time to grieve his dead parents or the divorce. One day it will hit him and then, I wouldn't give his problems to a monkey on a rock. I am doing okay. Grief will not destory me. Tears are a sign you are on the way to recovery. I am getting used to be alone without having to cry all the time. They deserve each other. Wait until she finds out what a control freak he is.

How to fade quickly and get off the JW "radar screen"

so you want to fade quickly, and keep the elders off your back?

here's an easy way to do it:.

1) recruit a sympathetic friend - doesn't have to be an elder, heck, doesn't even have to be a jw - to pose as the secretary for the "xyz" congregation.. 2) tell your congregation secretary you are moving to the "xyz" congregation.

I moved to a new area, I went to the congregation were I lived, but it was too far me to drive alone at night, so I changed to a closer one. Since, I didn't live it the territory they kinda lost me when I stopped coming. Of course, I am a woman and they we don't matter that much to the elders. So, as long as you aren't an elder you can slip through the radar screen.
