  The Biggest B.S. stories you've heard from a talk

  a few years ago at a convention, they related a story of a jw who was shot during service.

  but rather then stop and get medical attention (like a normal person would have done) they moved on to the next door to finish the street.

  when they got to the house the householder just so happened to be a (you guessed it) nurse!

  The one about the murderer in the territory who didn't kill the sisters who came to his door, so the elders went to his house to ask him why he didn't kill her. He said, "What, with those TWO GIANT GUYS STANDING RIGHT BEHIND THEM?" I heard this story at least twenty times in a bunch of different congregations. A sister I know at Bethel told me she has heard it from visitors hundreds of times, and it "recently happened."

  Oh yes, the angels were protecting the Witnesses. But why no protection in Malawi? And why were the elders asking him questions? And why wasn't a murderer in jail? On and on.

  What UNUSUAL MARRIAGES have you seen among JW's?

  these are couples that i know personally.. a brother i know married a sister 36 years older than him.

  he was 35, she was 71. they are still married 5 years later.

  they do not get along, and they make that known to the entire hall.. a brother that has been married twice and is 50 years old recently married a 19-year old.

  These are couples that I know personally.

  A brother I know married a sister 36 years OLDER THAN HIM. He was 35, she was 71. They are still married 5 years later. They do not get along, and they make that known to the entire Hall.

  A brother that has been married twice and is 50 years old recently married a 19-year old. His daughter is the same age.

  A brother that was 19 married a sister who was 28 WITH THREE CHILDREN UNDER 6 YEARS OLD. They have been married for 15 years, and seem very happy to me, although of course I am on the outside.

  I am not judging them. Maybe I will marry a woman 35 years my senior. Who knows. But it would be a little unusual. So what about you? Have you seen UNUSUAL MARRIAGES among JW's? Is there a HIGHER PERCENTAGE of that among JW's? Or not?

  Crazy JW chaperon Stories

  the jw's must not trust their members or at least don't have too much faith in them when it comes to being alone around member of the opposite sex.

  i can remember one time in particular from when i was a teenager that still makes me laugh today.. when i was younger i used to go out in service on a regular basis during the week when i had summer break.

  one time when i met for service there were only two other people that showed up.

  I had several sisters do that to me, ride in the back seat like I am a taxi driver. What grossed me out was that some of them were old enough to be my mother. I think they got a charge out of it as if we could possibly get into trouble.

  Thanks for putting those up JWS. You know I have an old notebook that I kept for years up to date with Convention themes and GB members, stuff like that. I left half of a page for the convention themes, because I figured that Armageddon would be here before 2000.

  honestly, if they get rid of them i think the whole borg will crumble.

  nobody's cares about elders the way they do co's and do's.

  Sammieswife, I agree. Yesterday I was talking with a brother who said that all scientists are stupid. He said just listen to the Society, because scientists are the ones who are ruining the earth.
