  Thanks OnTheWayOut; I guess the good ones make it worth staying around. I just hope everything goes well, especially with the pregnancy. God knows I want my baby to have a promising life, not one full of drama and unnecessary headaches. You guys are great.

  It's weird because the thought of having a baby is scary and exciting at the same time. It's sort of like the ray of hope right now. I just want to make sure that our child has a balanced childhood, not screwed up like ours were (well mine anyway) because of being raised a JW. Everything was so extreme and ominous, that's what I remember. I don't want things to be like that for my baby.

Any guesses what group I'm referring to??? At least read my response posts to the hostile personal attack that several people have heaped upon me. You wanted proof, you got it. The behavior I witnessed this evening is sickening.

  My husband is such a great guy!! He's taking me shopping this weekend in celebration of my recent hiring!! Nothing fancy, but he put some money aside so that I can pick out a few new blouses to look nice for work. I have orientation all day Monday, and I'm really looking forward to getting back into the business world. The department I will be working in does a LOT of charity and volunteer work, and though my husband has been opposed to that in the past (because JWs seem to think anything other than preaching is pointless) he's actually really encouraging me to take part in it. That was a pleasant surprise to say the least. Hopefully he's starting to see through the crap and realize that this "world" isn't as terrible as JWs think it is. Keep your fingers crossed!! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE!!!!

  13 months later.

  probably 1500 applications/resumes online and in person.. it is not a great job - flippin' burgers - and the distance is a bit more than we wanted for her to drive - but we are thankful!

  they mentioned possible management in the interview - so perhaps it can grow over time.. anyway - it will help keep the wolves off the doors.

  there was a youtube user named matthiaschurch who posted 3 videos about the district convention and how his cousin kept trying to kick him out.

  they were really funny, and i was hoping to watch them again, but i can't find them.
