Have u found a new faith since leaving?

i was just wondering how many of you have found a "new faith" since leaving the jw"s. for instance, are u a member of another church, another religion, or are u now a committed atheist.

if u have found a new faith, what convinces you that its the right one?.

onthewayout has a point,i feel that God is like a mountain you can look at it from the north, south,west,east , and see a very different view of that mountain but it is still the same mountain.,

so aslong as ya try to be all the person you know you can be that is what matters, enjoy who you are and not what some bunch of cultish freaks say you should be

Former JW in Houston

i sure could use some group therapy, but would settle for drinking a beer over some good conversation.

are there any former, maybe not formers but df's, or just plain doubting jw's who would like to meet some time.

i can not help you in meeting up etc i live in the uk,but stick with jwd you will find lots of help here.I have and it has really helped me,you will be fine there is life out side of the org believe.

still saying the end is near !!!!!!!!!!!!!

went to a convention to keep the wife happy but so glad i did as they still are saying that they are the only ones to be saved the rest of us all dead and that the young ones should not get educated but be pioneers dont get jobs but further the wtbs way of life have nothink like christ but they have the best things the life they have in the bethel is good best food etc good cars they dont have to pay for they are real false prophets just cult masters nothing else i try to show my wife that these people are false but to me it is superstitionon her part makes me sick they are still banging on about the end of the world and that god is going to kill us all i have never belived that my god of love would do that why send your son our saviour if you want kill the whole planet save a few noway .

still they are so wrong just thought i would let you guys know that they still think that they are the only true servants of god how sad they are so not allowed to check there own history i did and saw god was not there bless you all christ saves if you really know him jesus love you all

yes still-fading you are right,and i remember them saying that it would be.as when the great trib comes the book study groups would have to be the centres for the bros to meet and get the"food from the fds".

another experience that i wanted to share: ok, this happened to me a few years ago.

i was between jobs, and i decided to use that time to auxiliary pioneer.

i had never been able to do it before and i was very excited.

i have a story to tell as well.when i was ih the beth-ell,my good friend was going through some bad times his old man was very sick and he had other issues.so me and an other bro told him to go see his beth-ell elder who was also on the branch committee and a very well respected man.well my bud did go to see him at around 8.30pm on a friday night ,he knocked on the door i was with him for support,the door opened and my bud told this man his worries etc (the fact that his dad was looking like he might not make could go anytime).Guess what the answer was "simon come back in office hours" and shut the door! i was so shocked (at the time ) but not now ,i told my mother (i was only 20yrs at the time and a born in)she said that "God would remove him in his own time".however he is still there and still on the committee and still the nasty uncaring pig he always was ,so based on me old moms reasoning jehovah must like these kind of men caring for his flock!! i don't think so jesus would be kicking these pigs out of his "house of God".heybaby keep to your guns and fight on .God bless

wow, my husband it totally freaking out on me.

i presented an ample amount of information that i found about birthdays (this happened to be the topic under discussion).

mind you, i presented info from only the wt and awake.

Just a feel good post

my last few posts have been about the information i have been finding and my husband's reaction to it.

heybaby you are like myself i have a wife who is a nurse so not stupid but holds on to the wtbts mad crap i know how you feel you love them and want them to see that they are serving a false prophet but they will not see i have showed my wife pics of russells grave with the pyramid on it and still she says iam wrong i was brought up a jw but iam so glad God has showed me the facts about this org you and me are both just starting our new way of thinking lets keep in touch and try to help those we love see the real truth there are so many reasons to keep away from jws God bless sorry there is no punctuation just so going with the flow .The Lord jesus bless you
